I got three: 1 nike carry bag that is getting a bit worn, 1 sun mountain bag for push cart which is horrible to use in a power cart and 1 ping cart bag....
I need your support to convince my wife that I need to replace my carry bag...or better yet, maybe I can somehow show her how the leg mechanism doesn't work so well or how the fabric is torn and hopefully she'll magically say: why don't you get another one?
9/26 edit:
Oh I forgot. I also have a Sunday bag, too.

Enough to thoroughly clutter up our understairs alcove/cupboard together with all the clubs stuffed in them...
I've got:
A little 6" blue and black Nike pencil bag that's my everyday bag;
A black Nike stand bag that's about 6 or 7 years old;
A couple of old Ping L8 bags - one with stand, one without, resplendent in blue and green respectively;
A Nike staff bag - the first generation black and white one with the 'Nike Golf' logo on it that I recently blagged from someone;
An old Titleist 11" job that's from the late 90s and has the gold 'DCI' logo on the front;
A big 11" Mizuno bag, c.1990 or so in the dark blue/light blue/white colour scheme;
A big 11" Ping staff bag that's about 18 years old;
An 11" Taylor Made bag that's from the late 80s - the all-white one with the red white and blue stripes down the flanks.
All in all, enough to stuff my old retired clubs into and keep them safe. That said, I wouldn't say no if anyone's got a big old bright red Spalding bag knocking about so I can play at being Greg Norman.

Thanks tbhuskie8, I thought I was the only one who actually pared down. I had a carry bag and a staff bag, but got sick of switching out when I was playing courses where I was forced to ride, so I got rid of both, and got a Nike Tour SasQuatch bag. Excellent golf bag.

Two. Srixon staff bag and Ogio Vaporlite stand...........................................plus a 10 inch Powerbild that I could'nt resist for storing spare clubs.............................and an old MacGregor 9 inch with Jack Nicklaus on the badge...could'nt get rid of that......................and an even older John Letters.....not sure what that is still doing there. I really fancy a pencil bag, 6 inch,single strap, lightweight..

I don't like the way it looks, I should have gotten the black one but made an impulse purchase at Edwin Watts and picked up the Navy Blue one. I don't think it has enough pouches, thats my main gripe. I'm going to Watts after work and buying a stand bag (that will match my future rocket tour hc's ). So far its looking like the Sun Mountain MPB in black.

Just one bag here...a Callaway Warbird stand bag...seems to serve the purpose for both riding and walking...however, I will likely acquire a push cart in he offseason, and might snag a new bag as well...haven't fully decided yet.

2 Total, only 1 that actually gets outdoor use
1. A Sun Mountain C-130 that I use riding, or on my clicgear push cart.
2. A Titleist x-series carry bag that's about 5-6 years old. It holds my unused clubs in the garage

You gotta be kidding KidDoc....but from reading others' posts, I can now see how it's easy to have 12 bags, especially if you were on a school team.
Even with four bags - actually five now, since I just went ahead and pulled the trigger on a lower-than internet price X86 bag - I think that I will end up using my carry bag most of the time......between the shorts pockets and three main bags, I think it will be too much of a hassle to make sure that each bag has 3 premium balls and 3 mid price balls, divot tool - especially when divot tools migrate out of a bag into a pair of shorts - not to mention moving around rain/windbreaker gear.

Titleist tour bag (saltire embroidered) in black and white, for my Powakaddy
Titleist trolley bag, in blue and white, for my pull trolley
Titleist carry bag, in red and blue, for carrying, funnily enough
Original Ping Hoofer in green. Great bag but there were no shaft dividers and the Titleist was cheaper when it was time to replace.

Honestly, I haven't used it out on the course yet - it's only used to store spare clubs at the moment.
I couldn't pass up a good deal but from a cosmetic standpoint, the construction quality seems to be good. I'll probably dedicate it as a cart-only bag.

I have 3 bags:
1. Main bag - forged irons, forged wedges, newest driver, newest woods and newest hybrids. I use an Anser type of putter, because I like this putter shape better on faster more dry greens.
2. Rain bag - cast set of irons & cast trio of wedges. A driver, woods and hybrid which are off spring from the main bag (last years model). Putter is a more forgiving semi mallet type of putter, which I think rolls the ball a bit better on slower more bumpy wet greens.
3. Practice bag - a small light weight stand bag, which contains clubs I only use, when I practice: An older driver (old in my world is 1 year), a 6 iron that matches the 6 iron from one of my irons sets (I always buy an extra 6 iron, when ever I buy new irons for practice purpose), 3 wedges and a putter. Also contains some practice stuff, which I find is great for my practice routines on the range - a Pure Ball Striker (PBS device) is on order along with a SKLZ Practice Pod Alignment Aid - for better and straighter setup at the range.
