Anyone know when the Titleist bags for 2009 be released? I wanna see some pictures

Ditto! Titleist is replacing my Red X87 bag because of excessive fading on the ball pockets. All the other areas where this same material is used is also fading. They are replacing the bag with a 09 model and I would like to see what I am getting.

no catalog to scan pics...but the rep was in a few days ago.

keep a heads up for a really sweet navy/grey x87. style number may have changed, i wasn't in the meeting but i saw him carrying some new colors in. also....that uber-lightweight bag....they have more colors.

i've got a couple bags that i haven't put to use yet (waiting for the trusty Titty X68 to kick the bucket) but i may have to sell them once i see the '09 Titleist lineup. someone hurry up and post pics please!!

Are the bags on the Titleist website not the 2009 models? All of the clubs have been updated for the new year. I don't carry a Titty bag so I don't know anything about them.

it is my understanding that the bags themselves are not changing.....just the colors. they're adding some new ones and taking away some others.

ahh, sooo...

i wish they'd make different colors of the X76 Stay-Dry bag. if they're not coming out with any new designs, i may just have to find a way to waterproof the Ping Freestyle i already have.

but that's just it....there could be some more color options in the stay-dry. just have to get hands on a catalog.

I was curious about this last week. I went to put in an order and saw the new product numbers...

Kinda disappointing though. No new models, just new colors. Weak.

I'm having the same issue. How are you exchanging it? I called them and they told me to go to my nearest Titleist retailer and they have to send it in, etc. Any advice? Thanks

I bought it through my golf club and the pro is handling it. I believe that you can return it to any Titleist retailer and they will return it for you.

I don't believe there will be no model changes and/or revisions. Look at new (2009) Sun Mountain lineup (at GolfSmith) and it's clear a variety of changes have been made. Therefore, since Sun Mountain makes Titleist bags, I expect some type of updates from Titleist bags, not just color. So, I continue to await pics so I can select my 2009 model and color for Christmas gift suggestion (or purchase asap).

Are you telling us that you are getting a new bag due to the sun fading the color of the bag?? How long have you used the bag. I have a pink X86, that I replaced myself because it looked old. Still functioned fine after three years of use.

Why mess with perfection??? Why do you feel they MUST change the bag every year?? Like auto mfgs., keep the current model for a few years and put out some new colors......

I want an X87-like bag (even the present version), but with added integrated handle into the top cuff (like X86) for proper removal from shoulder. That would make me happy. Improve the strap padding a bit (like '09 SM Four-5) and I'll buy it immediately.

I've had the bag for 3 months, and it's not just the black fading to grey, the legs can't hold up the bag anymore. The bag completely splits the legs and it falls slowly to the floor. Honestly this bag is a piece... love Titleist irons/woods, but I'll NEVER buy a bag from them again. Nike SQ bag is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. IMO

I had an issue like that with the legs, and it was apparently because I kept too much stuff in the bag all the time. Stand bags just aren't made to hold as much stuff as a staff!

Anyone got an update on the 2009 bags. Just noticed on tgw.com they have added some additional titleist bags but don't have the pics up yet.

Just picked up an X-87 bag and couldnt be happier. My last two T/M stand bags didnt last through the year, it seems Titleist has better standards!

I've got the '09 Accessories Catalog. The X-87 has been named the Premium Stand Bag! New numbers are TB9SX7- followed by color code. 3 = Black, 2 = Navy, 12 = Silver / Dark Denim, 34 = Black / Red, 35 = Black / Spice, and 37 = Black / Fir Green. The old Putter / Driver well is gone (7 way divider now), and the integrated handle is THERE! It is listed at only 5.7 lbs! I may have to have the Black one!

The X86 is now the TB9SX6- ## too many colors to list! And there is a StaDry version too.

Looks like the X88 didn't make the cut!

silver/dark denim.....that color combo is so gooood. i saw that one when the rep was in. sick sick sick.

thanks for the update...i'm trying to decide between one of the new Titty bags or the SM Four-5....leaning towards the Titleist...of course

Received my new 2009 Premium Bag from Titleist to replace the 2008 X87 bag with fading issues. The x87 was showing problems after only 6 month of use. I included pictures of my old bag and the new one. The new bag has 7 way divider and the integrated handle. The ball pockets that were an issue are now black. All the other features are the same as the 2008 x87

Dang that thing looks good. I really like the black pockets as opposed to the red. Better balance of colors in my opinion.
