Guys, I really think Anthony Kim is the real deal. I love this kids energy. He is going to be a great Ryder cupper for years to come. Go Kim!

He is bailing out Mickelson from the rough on everyother hole.

Not today he isn't - he's lost it - Azinger needs to sit him down this afternoon.

Great turnaround by Stenson & Wilson. 4dn early to win the point on 17th.
Edit : posted in wrong thread.
OT : Kim has truly made a presence, and as lsutiger say, he will probably a big factor in coming Ryder Cups

i think he maybe gets a little too amped up, he looked very loose out there on the back nine this morning. He will be a big part of the team for years though I do agree, but he needs to learn to control his emotions a little more a la Tiger.
sweeet

He's a great player..there's no doubt about that. My question is how well he can handle his emotions and pressure.. and so far he's doing good enough.

I'd love to see an Anthony Kim vs. Poulter or Rose tomorrow in singles.

I like his energy and I'm a fan, but unfortunately he's not playing that well at Valhalla.

Forget the Ryder Cup,this guy could be the one to challenge Tiger in 5 years time.

Just seen Kim Shoulder check Ian Poulter coming off one of the greens, No need for that, just shows he's a little kid, very immature. Dont think you'd see any of the senior players acting like such a fool.
Kim's out watching Poulter's match, Poulter walks off the green and Kim Body Checks him? Whats all that about??

I missed the body check. Faldo starting with Garcia was a must to try and get momentum. If Garcia gets hot with the putter (it is the Rydar Cup...he always gets hot with the putter) then I am not sure Kim can win the first match. I don't think Kim played that good yesterday so hopefully the afternoon off gave him the chance to regroup and pull out a win. Go USA.

Didn't see it but maybe Kim and Poulter are friends.

Anthony Kim is the man!
I really like AK and think he has a chance to be top 3....
...but I think today might determine if he's "the man" or not.

Big, big kudos to Mark O'Meara for stepping up to mentor Anthony.......shows much class and integrity on his part.

That is not what Brandle Chamblee said on TGC. He said Kim got no help from Mickleson yesterday and he should have played both matches. Phil was all over the yard off the tee and put Kim in bad situations all day. I think you must be thinking about Garcia or Westwood. They have not played well.

The Experts all thought he played fine but his partner was not good at all. Looks like Kim got it done against Sergio. What a display of ball striking and performance under pressure.
Kim is buddies with all of the Euros from what I hear. In Ohio he was hanging with them during the Bridgestone invitational.
yuck

Seems to me AK played about the same as Kenny Perry. -7 in singles and 2 and a half points for the week. Does that mean Kenny is "the Man!" also?
