Thank god Leonard just drilled a 4 iron to about 15 feet, their first birdie putt chance!! Heck we may even win a hole there if the Euro's don't get up and down from the bunker.
Mahan nails the putt... SWEET!!!

Dont worry the natural order will be restored soon! Only joking! How bout Garcia starting like he left off in the last Cup?! Nice iron shot......great putt from Westwood!

Have no doubt... haha. No surprise to see Garcia and Westwood off to a strong start. Hopefully Kenny Perry doesn't let that pulled iron bother him (don't think he will) as he needs to be on his game for this match.

Just looking at the two rosters, this has to be the weakest team the US has ever had. I'm not saying they can't win but it sure is an "unspectacular" lineup to say the least.

I think the last US team was weaker! This one has a much better chance of success!
Interesting to see how Perry copes with home State pressure?

I agree. We were pretty weak last time too, but this one is shaky. If Anthony Kim plays well, he could be a wildcard. Kind of our version of Garcia hopefully.
Mahan and Leonard all square now!!!

Sneadker would have been brilliant, with a little Rocco just to spice it up too!
