Any suggestions for an online handicap service? I need one that supplies an USGA recognized handicap. I looked at Golfsmith, but two recent reviews said the site is down often. Thanks all.

I have used Golfsmith's for the last year and had no problems, never had a 'site down' issue.

Why don't you just support your local club and state's handicap organization?

Beware that not all "clubs" that supply a handicap, even a USGA one, are recognized by your STATE Golf Association. That might matter depending on where you intend to use the handicap you get.
