I am a guy who has the "sweaty hands" syndrome. I have been through about 4 gloves in the last 3 months. I take them off after I tee off. I use multiple gloves each round (3 as a matter of fact) and still they all get wet and slippery. So today I got the idea to try some soft leather work gloves from lowes. BINGO, they worked great and I actually had more control over my drive's. Due to the fact that I did not feel as it I had to grip it and rip it. Has anyone else thought or tried this? And how did it work out long term. With winter coming up I figured it would work well too. Not the best looking option but if it works then thats all that matters.

Thanks for comments in advance,

Tim

I don't know what I'd think if I saw you in work gloves. Can't say I've ever seen that.

Have you tried rain gloves or anything?
TimothyWitt
Jon,

No I have not tried rain gloves yet, I just got the idea while I was at Lowe's, I knew it was a rediculous idea and was originally doing it as a joke, but after the first few holes, I thought to myself, "this is not a joke". With how many people out there they were probably laughing at me.

I've seen batting gloves and all that... but like I said, that'd be a first.

Anyway, give rain gloves a shot. Generally, the wetter they get, the better they work.

While at a local golf dome range I had a small credit and purchased some cotton rain gloves that are suppose to help when playing in the rain and in fact are suppose to be wet to help grip the clubs. Sorry I threw the package away but they're tight fit and help alot.

I should run with it as a joke, get a camo bag, some bright orange headcovers, and some tee's made to look like shotgun shells. How many people would I make nervous?

Nervous being the operative word... I wouldn't say sht (well, I would, behind your back laugh.gif).

You'll have to complete the gig with attire.

This seems vaguely familiar -- like it's been done before...

OH YEAH. BOO WEEKLEY.

only kidding, don't cry about it Boo-lovers.

you should also try sweat bands, I bet half the sweat that accumulates in your hands is comming from your arms...
