I am moving to the area and am interested in joining a club in the area. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I lived in Columbia for 2 years while in the Army.

Linrick GC is a fun muni, not expensive and might have the toughest 3 hole stretch (15, 16 and 17) I have ever played anywhere.

The Windermere Club is semi private and worth playing.

Indian River is decent as well.

If you can get on, both Fort Jackson courses are decent as well.

Also, but it might be exclusively private now, The University Club is awesome.

I didn't care for Timberlake Plantation, but it was December when we played it, so it might be in better shape in the summer months.
