BEND OF THE RIVER GC
Since Sakman accused me of NOT playing enough golf this summer I squeezed in 2 more courses in the past 7 days. Yesterday we played Flagg Springs GC, which is about 30 minutes south of Cincinnati. The course while short (6120) was really fun and in good shape; with the exception of a few greens and a few tee boxes. Sure the greens could have been faster, but overall a very fun golf course that I would happily play again.

Nice Looking Course.

I hav eheard that the Kentucky State Park system has a bunch of good courses.

Ahhh yes, and I will be playing a majority of them next summer! No Michigan trip next summer, Kentucky instead!

Seriously? Huh.. I thought that was an absolute staple in your life. I suppose though, as I'm sure that you're probably running out of new courses to play up there.

Thanks for the review and pictures.

I will still go on a family vacation, and I will sneak in 4-5 rounds then. That is not my "golf vacation" though.

I think I've played this one too......is Flagg Springs the one off the AA highway past Alexandria? I played it after it first opened, looks in much better condition now 10 years later.

As for the KY State Park courses, I've played Boots Randolph near Land Between The Lakes and The one near Lake Cumberland (can't remember the name). Neither were that great, layout or condition wise. But, I was on vacation so it wasn't so bad.
