i need a new stand bag because my callaway xtt legs are useless.
Ive narrowed it down to the titleist x86, the sun mountain 3.5 or nikes sasquatch tour, ive also heard good things about the nike extreme sport.
Which one would you get and if you have owned any of these could you give me some opinions , good or bad.

I recently went through the same search. Th SM is really light if that is your priority but seemed too small fo the clubs I carry (and I only carry a driver and one fairway) and had very limited pocket space. The Titleist seems like a nice bag but it did not inspire me enough to choose it over a Ping Hoofer Vantage.

i have the x86 and love it... it carries a ton of stuff, and is pretty darn light, i just stuff it wit a bunch of stuff. i had two pings within the last year and a half and one completely broke, the other was seein some good damage. personally i dnt think pings were made terribly well, esp the retractable strap stuff

I just got the Titleist X86 after having a Hoofer2 for about 7 years or so. The legs definitely work much better than the Ping Hoofer bags. I can't give a thorough review, but so far I say that I like it.

Just got the sun mountain 3.5 sl in straight black. It looks great, has a lot of pockets (that you don't have to use if you don't need but are handy if you want them), feels comfortable, and is light (my clubs are so damn heavy though). I can't say anything about the durability/construction since I've only had it for a few days but I'm liking everything else about it so far except the top. There is plenty of room in the top but I just prefer smaller and more dividers - 6 big ones is kind of awkward but I think I'll get used to it. The legs are great so far too.. they stretch out decently far so I know my bag is never going to fall over.

Sun Mountain. My bro-in-law just got one. It does everything except hand you the club. It's light but very durable. You won't go wrong.

the SM and X86 are great... lighter bags, great legs, great club dividers that keep your sticks tight for less bag chatter. I don't like the bag divider on the PING and the Nike seems to be heavier.

I have also been searching for a new bag. My desire was for a stand bag with 14 full length dividers - coming from a free Hoofer bag. The Sasquatch do not have a putter well, the extreme sport stand system is inside the bag at the bottom of the putter well - do damage to the grip is possible. I've seen the SM in person and seems nice - all the titleist bags also seem nice. I ended up with a Datrek Vapor off ebay; has a Izzo strap, 14 dull dividers, 6-7 pockets and water bottle holders on both sides. The only problem is they sent black/silver/red and I wanted all black. The Sun Mountain MPB has a putter well, that could also fit a standard umbrella. Give that one a look.

I have a Nike sq tour and really like it alot. It has a nice built in cooler(side pocket) if you walk alot. The divider I feel like really cuts down on club chatter. The only thing is if you carry 15 clubs, it only has 14 pockets. The putter well is O.K., liked the old stlye better. The zippers are very durable. I do not know about the other models. All in all a very durable bag. Good luck!!!

I have the Nike Extreme Sport. It's very lite and comfortable to carry but the only thing i dont like about it that the the pockets are small and there are only 5.

I have the Sun Mountain 3.5 SL I switch between it and several staff bags depending on where I'm playing. I have 4 carry bags and this is by far the best. I have all black and I absolutely love it. A breeze to carry and all the pockets you could ever need, a very nice rain hood. It also is very easy to get the clubs in and out with out having to giggle every other club, I hate that. That's why I love staff bags. I'd give this bag a 10 . Oh and did I mention it's really light........................lol

I have both the Titleist X86 and Nike SQ Tour bags. Both are good but they are very, very different bags. I have also had the SM 3.5 bag but gave it up for Titleist X86.
The Nike SQ Tour is basically a hybrid carry/cart bag and is a bit too heavy to use if you're really looking for a carry bag. That having been said, it has tons of bells and whistles-- 14 full length dividers, insulated beverage pocket, etc. and is good on the cart.
The Titleist X86 is an excellent, lightweight carry bag. A tad heavier than the SM 3.5 but basically the same bag with better features- better straps, a nicer material, better beverage pocket, etc. If it had a putter well, I think it would be near perfect.

I just picked up a x86 a couple days ago due to the legs on my Vaporlite breaking. I also picked up a SQ Tour for my dad. I was torn between the x86 and the SL 3.5, but comparing them side by side in the store, the x86 seemed to be better built. The x86 was 141.99 and the sl3.5 was 139.99, so it was a no brainer for me. The SQ Tour is a nice bag, but it was a bit too bulky for my tastes, plus it's really heavy.
