Hey there, Anyone have any suggestions on courses near Ontario California. I will be out there in a few weeks and will have time for 2 rounds. Any help would be great!

Empire Lakes right across the street from the airport used to host the Nationwide Event for years. Kevin Na used to play out of there, and many girls practice there(Jane Park) being the most talented of the bunch. New owners came in and turned everything upside down so the PGA Tour left. Still a decent course but nothing to go schwing over.

Oak Quarry in Riverside is total eye-candy, the setting there is unbelievable. The golf is high octane, hit it in the fairway or its gone over the side of the cliffs. Very memorable, many people drive from all over SoCal to play here. A little overpriced but that's golf in California.

Eagle Glen GC used to be the pride of Troon Golf. Not anymore. Troon Golf left (new owners) and the place went to hell. It's starting to come back, but it's not what it used to be. The layout is mountainy on the front nine, and then back down to a valley on the back nine.

Goose Creek is a huge hit for SoCal locals. Very low-key golf, nothing fancy, meat/potatoes golf course. Not long, not challenging, but engaging enough to satisfy the golf cravings. Green fee is reasonable, and easily walkable.

Industry Hills GC is a 36 hole facility. Nice place. Eisenhower Course is the nicer of the two. Babe is tight and funky...and downright nasty. I personally like it here but it is overpriced as well.

Other courses in the immediate 20 miles include:

Sierra Lakes GC
El Rancho Verde
Champions Club at The Retreat
Trilogy at Glen Ivy
Dos Lagos
Whispering Lakes
Los Serranos
El Prado
Diamond Bar
Rancho Vista
Coyote Hills
Black Gold
Anaheim Hills
Mountain Meadows
San Dimas
Marshall Canyon
Cresta Verde
Hidden Valley
Mountain View
Goose Creek
Eagle Glen
Industry Hills
Jurupa Hills
Indian Hills
Upland Hills

Hidden Valley. Can't you get ladies friends out there in tents?

I miss california. I used to live in Temecula for 5 years. Lots of great golfing in SoCal!
