I'm looking to pick up a pair of solid white golf shoes where even the logo is white and wanted to see how they would look with a pair of black pants.

Anyone wearing this combo? Better yet, anyone has pictures? Thanks.

matthewb
White shoes look just fine with black pants.

The real issue is do you wear a white belt or a black belt? (Tradition is that socks match pants & belts match shoes.)
Golfer1016
It looks fine, but it looks even better if you tie it together with a white belt/hat.

Its ridiculous how many posts I have read here with grown men "saying does my a$$ look fat in these pants?"

lots of people care, if you don't like it there's no need to slam other people who like to dress up a bit
is it so hard to fathom that some people like to hit some golf balls AND look good doing it?
geez...

Golfer1016: That's a good look!

I totally agree, but you have to remmeber these are 16-23 year olds. Its all marketing........they will figure it out by the time they hit 30.

I think my point was ...and maybe this is a internet/forum thing...but when did men become so concerned about how they look on a golf course...and why can't grown men seem to do anything anymore without posting question on (insert name here) forum.

Go out and buy a pair of white shoes if you want and wear them with your nice black pants...and spend 20 minutes picking out a belt if you want...but do it without posting it on a web forum.

I'm not bashing this one particular guy who needs everyone's approval before buying a shoe...but it seems to me a growing majority of men who seem to care more about how they look and less about the game.

I will take a few minutes before going out on the course to find a decent pair of socks and maybe throw an iron over a pair of shorts if they have been stuffed into a drawer all week...but my god i can't imagine asking my golf buddies if I look nice or if they think my shoes match my belt.... russian_roulette.gif

i think the white shoes look good with black pants. i usually wear it with a white belt/shirt/hat, all with black accents.
tbowles411
I dress better for golf than I do for church. I HAVE to match and look good. If I feel better how I look, I play better. Weird, but it's true.
kitsoasis
wow, everyone has photos of themselves playing golf
i should get me some action shots...

Just make sure it's not black denim. Don't want to have the Jack "The Hammer" Hamm look going on.

I feel like I'm the last golfer on earth who's not rockin' the white belt.

Once you dress the way everyone else is, you're already out of style ;-)

Well put.

And it's never ok to wear white shoes with dark trousers. but hey. If you're from there, then go right ahead.
phsgolfguy got it right. Not white shoes, but white and black saddles.

Style is definitely an increasing factor in the golf game now that the European style has started making its way over to the states. And as we all know the mental part of our golf games are the most important than the rest. Mentally if you think you are not going to play good golf, you usually aren't. It all relates to confidence. Therefore, to my point, if you have switched your golf style to a more European look, the better you look and feel the more confident and professional you feel. Which in turn could boost your confidence and golf game. It's all mental.

I've cleaned up the thread a little. Let's try and stay on topic guys...

Hah, thanks. Phil thinks he's sweet hitting it backwards off of a big hill...try it off a flat tee box! But really I dont know why that ball was there, I think I might of hit a couple shots on that hole just for fun.

Thanks...um I hope your not a dude, and if you are I hope that was a joke. The shoes are all white e-comforts, cheap and pretty classy.

So what, you turn 30 and you have to look like a slob? And the reason people ask for opinions on message boards is because they have friends like you who would say stuff like you said to them. If you don't have anything constructive to say, how about just not pressing the post button?

Nothing wrong with white shoes and black pants. Make sure you offset it with the white belt or hat though. If you had a black shirt with white accents, that would work as well. My wife doesn't understand the white belt and thinks it's dumb, but I like it.

I do enjoy how every single thread here somehow comes full circle to THE HAMMER.

I'm over 30. What exactly was it that I was supposed to have figured out by the time I turned 30?

THE HAMMER is where it's at!

Patented ZOLEX that obsoletes titanium! And the Smart Shaft that adapts to ANY swing speed!

Stewart Cink was one of the latest pros to say it (paraphrasing): When I look good, I feel good, and I play better.

....um...yes you are bashing him. I love posts in replies to threads by posters who have no liking of the thread yet feel the need due to their enormous ego and therefore need to throw a negative comment in. The guy wants advice on color matching, you either reply with help or as my momma taught me...shut up.

I especially love when someone puts down a poster then throws in a line about not intending to bash them...sorry you bashed him already.
Feeling the desire to look good on the course does not entitle you to make derogatory comments saying "the guy cares more about his looks than his game"....funny having never met the guy and the guy never saying so..yet you know his game is less than his clothing style desire????

To original poster, i care how i look on course, i also try to look different, not radically, but not the usual tan dockers with white shoes and brown saddle, plain white polo...etc....so i care about color matching and yet shockingly...wow....i still put as much effort into my game.
