Hey Gang,
Has anyone had problems with their Nexos bag? Essentially the legs won't support the bag and crashes to the ground. The legs crapped out on me after basically the second time I used it...too bad...loved that bag!
Tried Ogio customer service in Canada but no response so far. If you have any news I would love to hear it...
Thanks,
Ken

nevermind, i just got this reply from Ogio when I sent them an email asking if the Nexos had the torq strap on it.
"Unfortunately with the Nexos golf bag we have found a manufacturers defect in the golf stand bag. It has kept it from performing up to our high standards of excellence. Because of this issue we are not selling or fulfilling any pending orders for these bags until a fix is in place. The bag that have been sold if the defect shows up in them then they will be replaced for the customer. Because of this I would go with either the Edge or Grom bags. They are very great bags and our number one selling bags. Let me know if you have any further questions."

Thanks! Too bad...great bag for features but not so good for standing on its own!

I was looking at a Nexos bag a few days ago. It was heavier than most of the cart bags. Lots of good
features but at a rediculous weight. I ended up with a Grom. Still a bit heavy, but good enough. No
problems with legs. They are a touch sluggish but just fine.
It seems every company has its bag issues. Always some part of every bag that another company
does better. Its always a compromise.

Has this issue been resolved, in the market for a new bag and the nexos looks like a winner if the leg issue is fixed and have always liked ogios stuff, I currently have a 07 Ozone that has seen too many rounds and needs replacing.

Kinda a shame that Ogio make some of the most well designed bags going and have some of the worst stands on them. I contacted customer support after problems with the stand on the Vapourlite, the legs didn't extend far enough to support the bag. The advice they game me was to alter the plastic thing on the spring for the legs, which improved the problem slightly, but then provided a new issue that the legs would not retract, which was even more annoying.

The new system was supposed to fix all that.
And yes my ozone is prone to falling over with a mild gust of wing, too narrow a stance of the legs I guess.
Might have to look at Mizuno's bags or something else available here on the japanese market, since the military courses carry nike almost exclusivly (they'll order me other stuff since I refuse to buy nike but it's all sight unseen...
