Hey guys, I brought my clubs with me to Hawaii, and our first stop was in Phoenix. Well needless to say it was raining pretty hard and while we were sitting on the plane the girl next to us in the window seat said I think I just saw your golf clubs...I was like really probably lots on this flight, well she went on to say oh wait it just popped opened or something. I was like great, she said they threw it pretty hard and hit something. Well ump-teen something hours later we arrive in Hawaii and I get my clubs and sure enough broken travel case. It was still together but they broke the top handle and latch. Anyways, the airline is going to replace it, but probably not in time before I have to leave. So now, I am going to have to duck tape it back together and hope TSA doesn't need to search it. Sucks, the case isn't even mine, not to mention my first time flying commercial.....any one have good tips for dealing with this?
Thanks
WRXJIM
You might get lucky, but Golf Clubs are a supossed to be a "mandatory" search for TSA... (I find mine are hit and miss on the searches)

They "should" re tape it for you though so should be ok... especially if you had it taped to start with and they can clearly see why it was taped...

At least the Airline will replace the travel case... as they should!
