I would have to say Rory has not been playing very much this year. Does anyone know why?

From the looks of it, he's not playing that well. Maybe he's just trying to practice more. That's golf. Just when you think you can beat Tiger Woods, you can't seem to hit a shot straight.

I must say I agree with Lottabalata. I havent had much respect for the guy since the whole Ben Crane incident. He did do one thing I appreciate: He is no longer with Nike. (I am a Nike fan, glad hes not a part of their staff)

His bad play or lack there of doesn't prove this but I've always thought that if anyone was using something illegal and showed signs of it it was him. Red face, short temper etc. It may or may not be but it also seems to be mental on his behalf (another sign) as his putting stats have gone to the dogs. Whether illegal substances work or not it's the mental aspect of feeling indestructible that I think results in improvement more so than the physical aspects.

The guy is a jerk and dresses like it too. STAY AWAY!

Currently in 13 events he has made 1,189,714.00 and is 48th on the money list. Yep those Adams clubs are ruining him.

I am not a fan of his either but all players have peaks and valleys and at just under a hundred grand per event he is not doing bad.

Jeez....well the ben crane incident, target don't come across to me as a big deal. I say who cares, it is what it is.

could not agree more. In every other sport there is "trash talk" but in golf, if anyone says anything about anyone else everyone thinks they are a jerk. ESPECIALLY when it comes to Tiger. When Rory talked smack to Tiger last year, it was awesome, and i loved watching them showdown, or to say it better, TIGER DESTROYING Rory. ahhaha, it is what it is though.

I don't think he is that bad of a guy. Everybody has a bad day and blows up. I think your entitled to a little slack. I haven't payed much attention, but I don't see him acting like this day in and day out. He just has a confident (cocky) personality when it comes to his game. How are you supposed to beat Tiger if you don't really believe you can? When you hear all the pros kiss Tiger's butt, they've lost before they even hit a shot.

I was just thinking this. I think he's embarrassed that Anthony Kim has out played and out "belt-buckled" him this year. He's waiting on the installation of flashing eyes on his skull belt buckle and a pirate ship bag before he returns to the tour.

I am not a big Rory fan. He's done his fair share of douchebaggery (Ben Crane incident), but I won't get on him for trash talking. At the elite level he plays at, you have to feel like you can beat anyone on any given day, otherwise you will get eaten up. If trash talking gets you up to play, then so be it. Just be prepared to back up the talk.

It WAS fun watching Tiger annihilate him though. Rory needs a little more mental toughness to go along with that confidence/cockiness.

Douchebaggery aside, I hear that outside of the course he is a very nice guy.

I think they should forget the FedEx Cup. Too many trophies. We should follow the rodeo's lead and have the FedEx Belt Buckle. That way the winner could wear it year round.
