So I bought one of these and it came without the Lindeberg stamp on the inside and the buckle had horrible paint fill and about 4 scratches on the face. Has anyone had good luck or found good deals for JL belts on ebay or anywhere else?

Yeah, there's a ton of JL fakes on Ebay. Who is the seller in question?
I've bought all my JL stuff in stores, but I have been looking on ebay recently....boardwalk sports/dieseldiesel69 appears to be pretty legit....that store is attached to a real store in Canada that looks to sell the real stuff. I bought a pair of JL golf shoes from Maple Hill Discount Golf in Michigan and they seem legit, but I don't know for sure....they'll arrive in a couple of days and then I'll inspect them. Some of the better golf stores on ebay probably carry authentic JL, but I don't shop there enough to know their names yet. nadav999 looks fake...that is also in Canada, in Montreal. If you're buying authentic JL belts for $30, chances are it's not authentic. You know all the old sayings....
The authentics on ebay are still pretty pricey....but still better than retail. So if you don't want to spend 80 bucks, maybe you should be looking elsewhere... (not directed at you....just sayin'....people will buy a $30 "authentic JL" belt and then complain that it's fake...)
I think it'd be a good idea to get a sticky thread with all the known reputable ebay sellers and scammers listed for all to see. I know of a clothing forum that does this for diesel sellers on ebay and it's a huge help to know who's selling authentic goods and who is not.

Nadav999 was the seller of this belt. I sent them an e-mail requesting my $ back including the shipping costs to get it back to them shice it was CLEARLY a misrepresentation in the pictures. I just bought one from gppgolf .... it looks pretty legit.

This also clearly shows the JL on the inside of the belt as well...gppgolf claims to be an authorized JL dealer...we'll see.

I have bought from
ebizzshop, and while I don't know if his items are legit j.lindeberg, they come in perfect shape and look good to me. They ship from Thailand though, so it takes like 15 or so days. Good news is the belts are about 20 with shipping.
Here is his shop

I do not know personally, but $10 for Lindeberg from Thailand = super fake.
Here is who I have bought from, and all have been real.
Proline Golf in Chicago - These guys are awesome and have been in their store. Nothing but legit.
Berkshire Traders - These guys are on ebay, and seem to get some closeout stuff, and again, so far everything I have from them is real.
Boardwalk Sports - Also 100% real. I bought my first Lindeberg gear ever from these guys a few years ago.
Like it was stated above, if it appears to be too good to be true, then it probably is.

I agree that anything coming from Thailand or Hong Cong is going to be a fake.

I didn't say they weren't fake, but for 10 bucks they are the best looking belts for the value, and even though I know they're fake, nobody ever really notices. The only bad thing is the quality of the leather definitely isn't as good. But I am aware that they're fake.
I have this one, and I like it, fake or not.

I have had some terrible and good experience's on eBay with regards to JL. The one I had good experiences fashionfrenzees is no longer a registered seller (kind of scary I guess). The one trend I have noticed is that quality JL seems to come from Canada. I have also been royally ripped off buying JL on eBay. The seller worked the system to perfection, I did a buyitnow so when I contacted the seller they said they would ship when the normal end date happened that way they could do multiple shipments and that they couldnt do one offs (warning!!). Then two weeks later I followed up when the bid date ended they said they ship and it would take two business weeks (another warning!!!). All in all when I realized the seller was bogus I contacted eBay but unfortunately I was now outside 30 days so eBay couldnt do anything. Luckily I use Amex with my paypal so I called Amex told them it was fraudulent and wanted a refund. They credited me back. Hope this helps for all you eBay users.
Also, the seller’s feedback seemed good they had a high ranking and tons of good feedback. But when I dug a little deeper their positive feedback was on purchases not sell items.

This one was a worse fake then the last. The leather is pleather and horribly worn on the inside. I am almost ready to give up.

I actually purchased a few of these "fakes" knowing full well that they are fake and gotta be honest; the leather is nice and the buckles are fine; no issue here. I like them a lot and I saved a ton of bucks.
