Jeff Sluman captured his first Champions Tour event on Sunday at the Bank of America Championship in Concord, MA. Slu closed in dramatic fashion by making birdies on three of the last four holes. He birdied the 15th to break a tie with Loren Roberts, then made putts of more than 30 feet on the 17th and 18th to secure the two-stroke win. Sluman, who joined the senior circuit last September, shot an 8-under 64 and finished at 17-under 199.


Jeff was decked out in FJ products for his inaugural over 50 circuit victory. He dialed in a pair of brown and white ReelFit shoes along with a slick orange and white SciFlex glove on Sunday.

Exciting post -please keep them coming ...did his prodry socks also give him an advantage over the field? ...& did the tour van help keep him from wearing white socks on Sunday?? Also, am I playing with the right glove size (it's not a sta-soft, can I expect an answer?)!?

The tour issue ReelFits probably don't unlock themselves every other hole like the retail ones my friends have.

I've had a pair for 1 1/2 years now, and I've never had an issue with them. I walk and ride, so they've had a lot of use. Your friend should've sent them back to FJ instead of just accepting a bad pair.

I'm guessing the GolfWRX link on FootJoyBlog.com doesn't have any impact on traffic over here either...

I look at this site all the time and am amazed at how non-advertising based it is. We need to be glad there are sponsers to foot the bill for this site,I am sure it takes money and a ton of time to keep this available to us free of charge. I have heard there are other golf websites that are much more retail oriented! Todd

I've been wearing the reels for a year now and never have had issues with them coming undone.

They're the best shoes i've ever worn.

I'm just happy to see Sluman win. He grew up in my area of the woods. He seems to be a great guy, I have never heard a bad thing said about him. A class act throughout his career.
