Okay, here is my dilemma.
I used to have an Ogio EXO stand bag that I really loved using except for one thing, the grips would constantly rub when taking out or putting my clubs back in. I sold the EXO and bought a cart bag, a Datrek Rage, since I always use a Clicgear push cart when walking and since there are 14 individual dividers, I don't have any issues with the grips. The Datrek is great but I can't just go out and play a quick 9 holes, if I don't have the cart with me, and it is a pretty heavy bag. I decided to only use the Datrek when I ride and I would buy another stand bag.
I checked out quite a few bags and liked the Sun Mountain MPB, Bag Boy Clip Lok and Ogio Grom.
I bought the Grom, great bag, but the grips still rub, I should have known it would happen since it has the same Woode system that the EXO had..
This leads to my question, can anyone recommend a stand bag that does not have the rubbing grip issues?
Thanks for your help.

I too had the same issue. I love my Winn soft girps, but they are oversized and very sticky. I looked at the Nike Sasquatch Tour, Sun Mountain MPB, as well as bags from Burton and Bag boy that either have full length dividers or a way for the clubs to clip to the bag. I ended up buying the MPB and used it with a cart last weekend and loved that my clubs would go in so easily. I ended up buying the MPB because I tend to keep my equipment and bags for a while and they had the best reviews for quality and wear.

I like the MPB but does the putter tube hit your back when walking, and did it seem heavy?

The MPB doesn't have a putter specific tube. Only 14 dividers. I have exhausted myself looking for a new bag, and this is the one that I am going to get. Going to pick one up Thursday from Golfsmith during the F&F sale. I don't know how much it is going to be off, but should be nice...

The MPB I looked at did have a seperate putter tube along the top of the bag. I liked the 14 way divders, I was just concerned with the weight of the bag. it is a little bit heavier than the Grom.

I went into Ebay and they only had one so i'm guessing that's the one you were refering to. It does have a tube, you can see it in the pictures. the external tube is one of the features that drew me to it along with the 14 way dividers.

I'm interested to know more about these as well, saw these on our local pga superstore. Thanks in advance.

I have tried using these tubes, but believe it or not they are great when putting your clubs in but often times will come out along with the club when taking them out.

Another concern will be how much weight they are
gonna add to your bag.
