I hope we can keep this on Topic but here it goes.
This is obviously a long time coming at is the best thing for Tiger's long term success in golf.
But I can't help but thinking that after so many years under the microscope and basically carrying the weight of the golf world on his shoulders, Tiger will benefit greatly and grow immensely from a year off.
Now, with a new family, Tiger can really take some well deserved time off and enjoy some of the fruits of his labor and spend time with his family and friends.
I am sure that when the time comes next year, he will strap on his chinstrap and get back to business.
Tiger's homecoming back to the course next year will be an event to behold.

Hopefully Tiger can enjoy his time away from the golf.
If I was him, i'd load up that boat of his & sail around till december.

I think this very well could be a great year for Tiger from a personal standpoint. His career is on hold which will allow him to be home with his family. I predict another child in March of '09, a few weeks before the Masters and his return. LOL

It could very well be good for him. But that being said,,,, he has a lot of family time when playing. He does not play a huge number of events in a year. Anyone know how many it actually is?
