I am jumping out of my shoes waiting for this wednesday. My buddy and I are hoping to play the black on thursday morning. I have searched many posts and read up on sleeping over and I am fully prepared. However I still have a couple of questions.
Has anyone played during the week over the past 2-3 weeks? If so, what is the best time to arrive the night before to make sure we get a decent tee time (before 10 AM)?
Also, does the fact that we only have a twosome (the other two guys bakced out) affect our chances of getting a time.

during the week you can get on without getting up at the crack of dawn, if you get there around 8-10 there are a bunch of times for the day, its the weekend when its hard to get on. you can call the clubhouse 516-249-0700 to find out how many slots are open...good luck....
