Anybody else tired of turning on the tv to watch golf or any other program and have to be interrupted every five minutes to be told it's raining outside?

It's the summer in Florida. It's raining. No sh*t?

Yeah, well you should live in Tulsa. They will shut down hours of programming to tell you its storming, NOWHERE NEAR YOU!!!!!
What? Its raining, thunderstorming, and maybe, MAYBE, we might see a tornado, 8 hours away from me, and will not pass anywhere close to me at all? Great I appreciate you letting me know that.... Its Oklahoma, it storms EVERY YEAR AT THIS TIME! This is not news...Now can I watch my CSI please?
I emailed them once about it. They told me "well, some may have relatives in that area and would like to know this information" ?????
I emailed them back stating I have relatives in Alaska, and no one ever interupts programming to let me know its snowing there... I mean come on, how selfish of them. Do MY relatives not count?

That is EXACTLY what they do in florida but with hurricanes. It's like "oh there's a cloud in the caribean, could be a HURRICANE! make sure you've got your generators, water, tarps, emergency candles, gasoline for the generator, backup plan for lodging, maps of evacuations routes, cell phone battery chargers... and on and on....."

I can't take it anymore.

WE NEEEEED this rain badly at least the rates are cheaper now, no more $55 for twilight prices thank god...
