In the semifinals of our Fourball 3/8 Club Championship something happened in the 17th hole. One of our rivals, a very nervous guy, missed a 2 foot putter to tie the hole and the match. Then he grabbed the club, made an hysterical swing on the green, broke the grass and smashed the ball to about 50 yards while insulting God, his own mother and the heavens. He was totally out of himself. Afterward he managed to play very well, while all of us –his partner too- remained quite miserable and tense.

We finally won the match, but here's my question: can this be interpreted as a disqualifying behavior?

I don't think so.

He was so upset he was wandering like a mad man. Didn't repair anything. I did it for him.
Problem is his attitudes influenced the rest of the match in his own benefit.

I would have tossed the person, because I personally won't put up with acting like a little kid. However, I do believe it is up to the opinion of the marshall.

I would also toss the person due to the fact that my roommate acts like that and it is VERY VERY embarassing to be around him when he doesn't do so well.
