I was on the Golf Informercial Channel last night and Phil was with some little kid and I thought they said he beaned the kid. The child was okay but maybe bad karma with the TV commercials he had with people he "hit" on TV last week.

Poor Phil - one week he is God and the next week he is Chris DeMarco/Ian Poulter/Stewart Cink/David Duval/fill in the blank.

I just assume he hits someone at least once a round.

I don't understand the reference to the other players. They are all Ryder Cuppers? They have all gotten at least a top 10 in a major? They are all right handed? Seems a weird collection of guys to group together. Maybe better to have said Furyk/Singh/Els? Elite players that are struggling this year and don't seem as consistent as in the past.

I think that every week Phil is Phil. Don't get me wrong, I don't care for him. But it is safe to say he is usually one of the 3 best golfers in any tournament he enters.

Sorry it was sort of a random pick of names. I like Phil. Win or lose he goes for it and he can hit it a mile. When he is on, he is very good.

Singh, Els and Montie are having a horrible year. Phil is still #2 in the world. Most improved is Kenny Perry.

yes. he beaned the kid by mistake.

but it would have been hilarious if Bones was mic'd and we got to hear them use the kid as their shot target....

"philly......see that little brat in the yellow shirt....aim for him."

as close on the heels as the ad campaign.......that kid deserves his own crowne-plaza commercial
