i remember the past couple years, the USGA has provided "live" (sort of) scoring from the sectional qualifying tournaments. Anyone know if that's still available and where to find it?

Why did like 30 pros all go to the same site to try to qualify? Judging by the low scores already, the winners have to shoot super low to qualify. The winning spot in MO was 76 66 at a course that is not incredibly hard at all.

Columbus has the most spots and they were already in town.

there is always one site that is near the days previous PGA event where all the non-qualified pros go. It typically will allow quite a few more spots (i.e. 90 vs. 8) than the other locations. Yes, you need to shoot low, but there are more openings.
If you are a pro, it's an easier route. If you are an amateur hoping to make it, you may want to try a remote location where you may be the best player.

That golf course is incredibly hard.... ask any junior that played in the US junior and they would tell you the same. 76-66 is good scoring with only 20 players there.

Matt Kuchar and Jason Bohn went low in Atlanta, both finished at -15. D.J. Trahan took the last spot in a playoff at -10.

Having a little trouble finding scores myself. Does anyone know the Florida scores? I am curious about Rod Perry, the USGA site says they update as they come in but...And nothing on FSGA.

Add record rainfall leading to brutal rough with lightning fast greens! Boone Valley is absolutely are very very challenging course.

Has anyone heard from IL? There were two still left in a playoff, and they were going to play #1 and #2 untill a winner was decided. A local boy is one of the two. It's been a while since someone from my part of the country has made the US Open.

Jon Turcott advanced, so Kane Hanson is 1st Alt.
I watched Hunter Haas' group for the entire round on Sat at the BOA Open. He has a ton of length but was missing alot of shorter putts. Must have gotten that part of his game fixed.

I grew up playing with Hunter's two older brothers. Glad to see him getting into a major. I know he played the Masters as an amateur, but this may only be his second go.

Too bad for Kane. Not many former HS players from ND get that far. What are the odds on the 1st alt getting into the US Upen?
