Who is this clown?
TM golf guy 182
I saw that picture in the BMW picture thread too. I think I threw up a little when I saw it. He looks like a moron.
soberguy16
i think it might be pelle edberg? if so, i saw him play some euro event last year on tv and decided that i had to pick him for my british open pool...ended up being not such a bad choice. hehe. i think hes hilarious
hoganfan924
I think it's Jack Hamm's younger brother.

Poooooowwww!!!!
philfan316
The wristbands are way too far. Super Mock Turtleneck. That headband is....I don't have words for it. The whitebelt is the only thing that really acceptable by todays standards.

He must be from the Big Break.

Pelle Edberg.

Clearly a man who likes to be different...

Or, who lives in a house with low ceilings.

or who "putts from the rough" if you know what I mean..................

I thought it was owen wilson filming a golf parody movie! Where's ben stiller?

What would be a good title for such a movie if /when they make one?

I played against Pelle a few times in the late 90's and he's pretty much always worn a stupid headband of some kind. He's a decent guy though and he's worked hard on his game in the last couple of years to be back playing regularly on tour.

The Swede's have always set the trend when it comes to the fashion on the fairways. I guess if he was wearing an OEM cap/Dockers/Adidas 360's etc etc he'd get your approval?

I don't disaprove of him I just think he looks ridiculous that's all. I don't mind a little fashion but he is over the top. Headband? Come on!
mat562
I'm not a great fan of the headband look, but he at least doesn't look like he spent the night sleeping in a hedge bottom like his fellow Swede Edfors.
stage1350
His douchiness will not be complete until he has a Lime Green Altus in his driver.

I agree mate, it wouldn't be my personal choice. I believe there's a story behind it but I can't remember.

A far as one of the comments about 'putting from the rough' goes, the Scandinavian guys (including Pelle) put the rest of us to shame when it comes to pulling... And 90% of them dress like that!

I once got paired with someone at a charity tourney who wore capri pants. So this Swedish person's get-up doesn't seem that out of whack to me.

(In case it's not clear -- the capri-wearer was a man.)

I would not been able to swing a club as laughter would have been to order of the day for me.

Is this a fraternity hazing ritual? That's the only other time I've seen a guy put tighty-whiteys over his head.

That is no Mock Turtle, that is a full on Turtle!

I agree with Stage as well, that looks more like underwear than a headband.

He's been doing the headband thing for a while. When Ryan Moore did it, people thought it looked cool on here.
bloodredsun
He's one of the Swedish style mafia!

He is also one of the purest and longest hitters I've ever seen. I watched him on the range at Wentworth (where the pic is from) and he gives it a hell of a lash and arrow straight, amazing when you consider that he's only about 5' 8" or so.

What's most odd is that someone who hits the ball so well can score so badly.
Mr. Fair
I think he borrowed that headband from Rhoda Morganstern from The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
puresurfr
That glove looks ridiculous.....How dare he sport such pedestrian hand wear while sporting an ultra chic outfit !!!!! Shame on the man !!!! Shame !!! Shame !!!! Shame !!!!!

He should be wearing khaki Dockers, a white shirt and a baseball cap. He's got some nerve dressing differently...

There's a difference in dressing different or cool and wearing a stupid headband. Maybe he dates the tall chick from the Big Break?

Nothing odd about that. You know who hits the ball well, has two thumbs, and scores badly? This guy. (For anyone out of the two thumbs loop, I'm this guy.)

Down on the headband with long hair and the JL wrist bands. The rest is greatness. I'd wingman for the guy, but don't tell the wife. She has a funny notion about me dating other women.
finalist
Are there any American PGA tour guys that are sponsored by JL?
I'd say most guys on this board don't like that Swede look, but since about the early 90's it seems America is following the fashion trends rather than leading. The headband is the hardest to grasp, but the rest looks like any other highschool mod rocker dude... and it's the young generation that dictates fashion coolness, and most older people tend to remain stale.

Yea he is Jack Hamm's brother.... Except when I see this guy I wanna say PPPPOOOOWWWW... Right in the kisser !!

What has two thumbs and loves BJ's? THIS GUY!!!!!

The reason America follows is that we have no style? Have you seen middle America? (No offense). All we can come up with is Von Douch and Ed ****** Hardy.
