Just wondering if anyone has tried this tool and what they thought about it?? Seems kinda handy to have everything in 1 small tool that doesnt look dorky like those other "All-in-One" tools. Anyone try it or handle it in person?

Here is a link.

I have one in sapphire blue, have had it for a year now, and love mine. Looks great in sapphire blue in my view -much better than the dull red:

It has everything you need built into one unit - only negative about it is its size.
It's not exactly small and ligth weight - but on the other hand it needs to have a certain size and weight to be durable and have a nice size scissor, tweezers, pitchfork and ball marker derisive.gif

It even has a groove cleaner, which works great for very dirty wedge grooves ok.gif

I can only recommend it highly. It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for yes.gif

Great!

I searched everywhere and could not find good info on it. I am pleased to hear about the groove cleaner becuase that's very important to me.

How big in size is it? Length, width, and height?

Yeah - I have one too. Got it as a gift. The only bad thing is when you use the divot repair tool you have to keep pressure on the little ball to hold it down, otherwise it retracts. I also grinded my groove cleaner a little finer/sharper so I can reallt get in the grooves. It's an awesome tool to keep in the bag for sure - a little hefty for the pocket though.

i have one, its a great little tool
i keep it in my pocket most of the time so i use it for other things too (i.e. opening boxes of golf clubs when it comes in the mail, its a sickness!!!)
although i don't use the groove cleaner, not sure about metal on metal
but otherwise, very versatile!

I would say: 7-8 cm in length, 2-3 cm width and 1 cm height/thin/thick - it's somewhat larger than you think, when you see it on the internet.

At first the pitch fork clicks into place when you use it, but as slim16er says - this will change after some use and after small pieces of dirt from the pitch fork eventually will fill up inside the slit, where it unfolds from. This means you have to hold the little white ball very tight, when you use the pitch fork - otherwise the pitchfork will retract into the slit. This little fact and the overall bulkiness of the tool are the only two negative things about this great looking golf tool smile.gif

I would overall rate the Victorinox golf tool:

Style/Appearance: 6/6 (Sapphire blue edition)
Bulk: 4/6 (It's larger and more heavy than you would guess)
Practical use: 5/6 (only the minor nuisance with the pitchfork keeps it from getting 6/6)
Overall: 5/6 - great & stylish golf tool
Advice: Go buy the Sapphire blue version !

NB As kitsoasis says - be careful when using the metal groove cleaner. I normally use my white plastic Zero Friction tees as groove cleaner because the soft plastic won't scratch the grooves - but for REALLY DIRTY wedge grooves, the metal groove cleaner in the Victorinox tool is great ok.gif
