I like the Champ Scorpions and have been using them for the past couple of years. Good traction and they don't wear down real fast.

I liked my old pulsars, but the traction with the Scorpions that came with my new Nikes is unbelivable.

I just put in a set of soft black widow spikes. Played on them twice
and like them.
I live in small town, they were the only ones available
in the local Wally World.

I started wearing running shoes instead of golf shoes, more comfy and cooler. If your feet are slipping, maybe you are swinging too hard. When I wear spikes, I hated the black widows because they only last a few rounds, pulsars were better and the Adidas/Bite heavy spikes last forever. Still got a set of Stingers I haven't tried yet.

Here's something stupid for you guys. I like the Champ Scorpions for the course, but when I go the range with mats I like the Pulsars. (I still miss my old metal spikes from when I was a kid.)

I prefer the adidas replacement spikes, they last longer than most of the others. Golf Galaxy carries them.

I used to love the scorpions until i purchased my first pair of powerbands, now the adidas spikes are by far my favorite, they have great traction and last much longer.
Stee72 you can order them from here

Used to have the BW's in all of my Classics and then the locker room ran out of the metal threaded BW's and so I tried out Champs Scorpions in one pair and enjoyed them for a good 7-8 rounds. They have great traction and really do last a while as long as you don't abuse them. Try them out and see, it's all subjective anyways...

The best I ever had were in a pair of Ecco that looked like Black Widow's but had a swirl to them. Nobody has them anymore (do they?) so I use the Pulsars as the don't destroy greens as bad. Anybody practice in flip flops or barefoot? I do it to work on my balance. Looks funny going to demo days with everyone in their golf gear and I'm wearing boardshorts, rash guard and crushing it near 300 or more! Surf's up, forget golf!!!!!!

Champ scorpions, because they are a lot easier to replace. I spent 1/2 hour one day removing a set of pulsars, had to take a set of pliers to them.

Stingers, as they're what my pro shop has - cheap, plentiful, durable, stable. A bit firm underfoot compared to squishy Pulsars but I like them better out on the course.
