I'm playing in an alumni golf outing tomorrow and we're supposed to have some nasty weather. Rain, sleet or snow, this tournament is always played. So today I purchased some Nike storm fit pants that are great. I've never worn rain pants before so I was curious if you are supposed to wear your slacks/shorts underneath the rain pants or just wear them as your regular pants??

Wear your normal golf attire, then put your rainpants on over them.

Normally I have pants/shorts on underneath. Most of the time, if I'm putting on the rain pants, it's really nasty or really cold and windy. Cold and rainy really sucks, and I'm usually wishing I was at home.

Bump for my Sun Mountain Rainflex pants though!! Super comfy and waterproof so far.

I normally buy rainpants one size larger than normal to allow for pants/shorts. If you know it is going to rain, it is OK to just wear them by themselves.

I usually where my golf shorts underneath my rainpants. If it's bad enough to need the rainpaints chances are I am not going to be taking them off and with pants underneath it gets to hot and feels bulky.
