Soooo...I'm stuck at work and our TV is at the repair shop so naturally being an absolute die hard for watching golf, I HAVE to turn to PGAtour.com's coverage of the 17th hole. I dont know who else has had a chance to watch this, but they use ALOT of microphones! Now, they seem to be intentionally picking the players conversations. The announcers will say "ok, now lets listen in on "so and so's" conversation. Its really interesting to hear the talk, but I think it would be in their best interest to maybe turn the volume down imedatly after the shot is stcuk. I say this because they are picking up A TON of profanity!
Just a second ago, Shaun Micheel hits an ok shot on the front fringe and clear as day he says "F#*% this hole!" Before that, Billy Mayfair hit one in the water and he says "F#*%!!" pretty loud, Mic's picked up the whole thing.
Now, I'm not an anti-swearing type of guy, nor am I offended and going to turn them in to the FCC or whoever handles that, but wouldn't it be in their best interest to mute the mic's after the shot, so that someone who might be offended doesn't get pissed and try to take some sort of action?
Just an observation....I don't know...I'm not even here...
