I liked 'Tales from Q-school'
Tiger 2.0 is just a collection of SI golf articles, isn't it?

Not sure about Tiger 2.0, but Feinstein's book was great. Lots of fun stories--just as good as his others.

Loved the Q-School book. I highly recommend it. It is up there with Open: Behind the Ropes at Bethpage Park as my favorite Feinstein books. I am currently the Bruce Edwards story and enjoy it as well.

I'll skip that Bethpage thing ... sounded like it was alot of Feinstein blowing those hack USGA guys , especially that goof ball Meeks guy who keep messing up pin placements , made the normal excuses but then did it again the next year.

You're missing a good book, then. It is a bit cheesy at times but it gives a good look into what it takes to run a tourney of that magnitude.

I'll pass ... when Feinstein gets cheesy on something , its puke inducing
Besides , the USGA butchers that tourney every year ... so I could careless how they think/do run the thing.

I gave the Q School book to another golfer last year as a Secret Santa present. I should have picked up an extra copy for myself.
I think I've read all of the other Feinstein's beginning with "Season on the Brink." I like his style, factual yet personal enough to keep my attention.
Sounds like a good Father's Day gift!

Agree with you there, The Bethpage book is great to gain some insight in what it takes to host an Open.

If you are looking for a good golf/Father's Day book as a gift, try "In Search of Tiger" by tom Callahan. It focuses on Tiger but also delves into his relationship with Earl, as well as other golfers' relationships with their dads, Jack, Arnie, Furyk, Mickelson, etc.

Read Q School followed by Chris Lewis' book The Scorecard Always Lies. Lewis' book picks up with the next season following Q School. Obviously it is not a sequel, but inadvertantly provides a continuation of some of the stories.
