I will be attending a conference for work at the Marriot Sawgrass on June 2 & 3, and was thinking about heading down early to play either the Stadium or Valley course. This will be the first time I have had the opportunity to play a PGA quality course!! I called to get the price to play and was shocked to hear $350!!! I know the Valley course is cheaper, anybody know how much cheaper?

For those who have played both, is the Stadium course worth the additional expense over the Valley course?

I would LOVE to play the Stadium course but $350 is pretty steep for my budget, is there any way to get a discounted tee time (twilight)?

Any feedback would be great as I am on the fence on whether or not go down early.

I have played both courses, it has been a few years though.

I really liked the Valley Course, too bad it lives in the shadow of big brother. The Stadium is really nice, especially the last 3 holes. There will never be a golf shot you will hit that will be more intimidating than 17.

I would highly recommend playing the Stadium if its at all possible, although if you choose not to, you will not be disappointed in the Valley, hopefully someone has played it recently to verify, like i said i has been 7-8 years.

I've played both a couple of times within the last 3 years. Valley is a nice course, you'll have fun. But you won't have the "wow" factor or the pleasure of watching the Players and remembering what you did on each hole. Ask the clubhouse or the hotel for special rates. I don't think I paid that much.

i played both mutiple times this past summer, and the valley is a very nice course but i do agree with the others, there won't be the same wow factor that is present at the stadium, if you can play the stadium for sure

If I were you, I'd splurge for the Stadium.

Like the other posters said, I have played both and the Stadium is just better. Valley is nice, but it is not the Stadium. I think you would beat yourself up if you did not play the Stadium later on down the road. It will be one of the hardest golf courses you will ever play, and if you can swing it, might be worth the experience of saying that you played it.

you can't go to sawgrass and skip the TPC course. i played it and it was great. also, as i recall, the valley course is no bargain. you may save $50 but you will be thinking about the tpc all day long. treat yourself. you deserve it.

Played both back in October, see Avatar. Valley Course was basically underwater the day we played it. You have to play the Stadium course if you are there. I played the tips and it was the most difficult course I've ever played. There is no let up on that course. Even though you'll be $350 less in your pocket you'll have the memories.
