Some really good bits and pieces at the Ian Poulter stand. Great shirts, classy belt buckles and of course those iconic trousers!

very similar to the style of the sub seventy belts...

able to remove paintfill and customise as you please!

Clothes and accessories look cool. The LOGO, however, would keep me from considering any of it. Terrible logo.

Nice looking designs. I don't know if I could pull it off, being the south side of 40 I think this may be for the younger players. I typically stick to the classic look of Polo (Typical Jonathan Byrd look)with some Greg Norman, Addidas and Nike mixed in. I like the all white shoes and white belts I just purchased the new Addidas belt that was so popular at the Masters among the Taylormade staffers. but what's the thought here? Is there a age limit on this style? I don't want to look dated on the course, but I don't want to look like I'm trying too hard either. My wife does a nice job with my everyday clothing, but is hands off with golf.

I have to agree with this post. I like the clothes but the logo is not very well designed.... black eye.gif

I agree. Ian looked pretty sharp at the Byron Nelson this week, but that logo reminds me of a male <edited>. black eye.gif

While I'm not sure that pink is the new black, what was surprising was that the shirts and the trousers are pretty kind to the more 'sturdily' built amongst us. You don't look like a tartan wrapped tennis ball if you try something a little more adventurous.

yeah, the whole pink and pe*is logo is too flamey for me. I wouldn't be caught dead with that belt buckle and cart bag.

It HAS to be on purpose, doesn't it?? And if so, WHY? Bad...

How much did some of stuff cost?

What is wrong with the Logo? Its his initals. Ian J Poulter all arranged together. I am sure most of you guys would love your name on your own belt. I know I would. Don't playa hate!

I am also a fan of the logo...really not as bad as everyone thinks, just my opinion.

you got to be kiddin' me you like the logo? It's fleshy pink and looks like an upright p**** or dangling p**** whichever your view is it's very subliminal. If it was a different color besides pink maybe but pink and the p**** looking logo? get out of here.

Love the line, but HORRIBLE LOGO!!! I was worried that I was the only one who thought it looked like a p*nis.
Togatown22
I was also afraid that I was the only one who kept seeing a male body part in that weird IJP logo.
I don't feel so weird anymore; so that's good. The clothes are cool; the logo...well, I guess it's just not for me.

I like Ian cuz he is sponsored by Cobra and I dig Cobra on there eclectic taste of pro's and there merchandise but why does he dig the color pink?

What's wrong with it?! Seriously? It's just terrible. Nevermind the whole phallic aspect to it (which can't be ignored)... There's no artistic value to it whatsoever. There's no flow to it. Part of it takes on a closed "shape," and then the top part of it ruins the shape by not lining up with the lower portion. So he wanted to incorporate his initials in a logo... He comes up with THAT? C'mon. If you took 5 minutes, you could probably come up with something a whole lot better.

Incidentally, I guess the sum of the logo's parts make up a "P" -- but it's made up of an I, and two J's. What's with the two J's? Does he have another J somewhere in his name? If not, and you argue that the "top" of the "P" isn't a J, then the logo works even LESS. Now you've got something made up with an I, J, and some random line that doesn't fit into the scheme of the other parts. The logo ISN'T made up solely of his initials, so why bother going this route? So stupid.

I suppose there's no way to track it, but I bet that this bad logo actually hurts sales. Remove the logo altogether, or change it, and I bet sales go right up.
