I was saying nothing will happen. You'll take it out and your putter would be sticky (from the sugar left on the putter from the coke) if you didn't rinse it off.

I'm not an expert on this by any means, but I'm nearly positive that Coke will not remove the Ping ZB finish. It is not black oxide, it's black nickel chrome...which needs to be stripped somehow. I know it's an extra tedious project, and refinishing people will charge extra for the job. It can't just be soaked in something like a black oxide or oil can would be done.
I was thinking the same thing.
I'm also sure there is someone locally who can remove the finish.
