did anyone else notice Adam Scott had the 907 style headcover with pink coloring instead of red? Maybe I have missed this before but I definitely noticed it and with all the talk of the 909 prototype showing up soon, was wondering if he actually had it in play.

Regardless of the headcover on it, it looked like a 905R to me.

God, you guys are really stabbing in the dark. That is a faded 907 headcover! Titleist won't release a headcover that looks that similar.

Yeah me and my friend were discussing that yesterday. But he did end up switching back to the 905. I dont know why, I dont like the 905 but i love my D2

He's going to be hitting that 905R for quite some time. The head/shaft combo drops bombs for him. There was a really good look at the sole of the club after his tee shot on 18 when he scolded the photogs.

He won last year in Houston with a D2/VS Proto combo (granted he did snap his tee shot into the water on the 72nd hole).

Since then, he's gone back and forth. But lately it's been all 905R/UST V2.

That drive he hit on the first playoff hole was HUGE. I don't know what Titleist could possibly do to make that head better. There's a reason that over half the staffers still have the 905R in the bag. It's a better club for better players. I've played both heads with the same shaft and I am at least 10 yards longer with the OLD girlfriend in the bag, the 905R. The 907D2 was a stab to get the "average joe" golfer away from TaylorMade and take a look at Titleist IMHO.
