Has anyone compared a Redmond to a JAT? Thinking about giving one of them a go.

I have a Redmond and LOVE it. I've only rolled a JAT in the store's putting green.

I far prefer my Slighter due to the sound and softer feel. I perceive that I can 'feel' the heavy milling on the face as well when hitting putts.

It's the best feeling 3 putt I've ever had.

I have a modified Redmond (see pic) and I love it. Tom is incredible to work with!

Yup, I've got a Slighter and you're right, he's great to work with and his putters are sweet. I sure the the Redmond rolls it nicely. I'm leaning towards the Redmond but I've never rolled the Cammy either and there's no 3 month wait on one of those.

Up until two days ago I had both of these putters, kept the redmond and sold the JAT. My two putters were quite a bit different. Specs on the redmond are 370g with deep milling on the face and is made out of stainless steel, the JAT is Carbon steel and 330g. So right off the bat its hard for me to compare the sound or feel againt each other. If you just want to know differnce in head shapes. The JAT is a bigger head than the redmond. I would say its about 1/4 an inch wider from face to flange and the shape on the JAT is a little more round looking. Both putters are really nice choices, if you like a heavier head and the ablility to customize your putter I would go with the redmond. Price wise you can probably get a redmond made fairly close to what your gonna have to drop on a used or refinished JAT.
