I am a maybe depending on when the Doc tells me I can start playing again. If I had to bet I would say that there is no way I am back playing before July.

I am still on the shelf, despite playing on Thursday. I still can't really do anything but putt without discomfort......it is going to be a long summer.

Well, Irish, you got your wish as it will not be at Blue Bell. If the date works for others please feel free to find another venue.

Doesn't seem like there is any interest, at least at Blue Bell anyway, so I guess so. If someone wants to hold it somewhere else feel free.
How have you done in your GAP matches?

Played awesome the first week at home, I won 4 up on the front and 8 up on the back. Medorrd Village plays at 7100 yards for the GAP matches which suits me just fine but most guys do not play that length on a regular basis and can not handle the length.
The second week (last week) I played away at Spring Ford. I just never felt confortable on the course, 5 or 6 blind tee shots and some bad tips from the host team off the tee on a few other holes cost me as well. I shot 83 with 4 doubles, so needless to say I lost the match. I won 1 up on the front, lost 2 down on the back when (he birdied 18) and lost 1 down in the match.
The birdie on 18 won them 3 points, luckily we won big time at home and we are 2-0 and playing North Hills this week which we have to win because they are also 2-0 but lead us in points.
How about you?

I got smoked at Little Mill the first week. I think I hit 1 fairway all day and played one of the worst rounds that I have played in a very long time.
I didn't play the 2nd week as I was out of town on business.
We are 0-2 and will be facing a challenge match next Saturday.

I used to be a member at Little Mill, I almost never hit driver around that place. Not very long and very narrow as you know, even the Par 5's were reachable with two well hit 3 woods so the Driver stayed in the bag other than a couple holes per 9.
Good luck this week.
Have you ever played North Hills?

CD, I may be hitting "The Mill" next week, and not all of us hit the ball as well you do my friend! LOL
I played it ok last year, nothing but low 90's there last year, the rough freaking killed me! I'm anxious to get back there though..

I have played North Hills a few times, if I remember correctly it is a fairly generous golf course and I hit driver a lot. There is nothing specific that I remember about it since it has been a few years since I last played it.
There is some type of member revolt going on over at Wyncote that was big enough for them to forfeit their team match to us on Sunday.

No, never have played North Hills.
It wouldn't have mattered if I hit wedges off the tee, my swing was just off from the get go.
Grimace,
Interesting news about Wyncote. I wonder what's going on there. What kind of condition was it in?

We did not venture over to Wyncote to play since we knew about the forfeit on Saturday. Wyncote offered a round to the traveling team for just cart fees, but nobody wanted to make the trip up. I am still on the shelf with my hand, so I was not going to play either way.
