Thats sweet!! Love the red tour dot. Thats some serious tour issue work from Scotty Cameron himself I'm sure.

One word...

Cool.
PurePursuit
Wow that is the ultimate hack job...the only thing worse would be if he used duct tape.
littlepingman
I am going to ask the seller what the toe hang is on that beauty.
The Ultimate Spin
yep...that is RARE all right

that's the saddest thing i've ever seen

Will do. I just sent the question asking what the toe hang was or if it was completely face balanced... LOL.
bsarapin
Thanks for the heads up on the jewel. I wonder if the rivet hole through the face will affect the smooth balancing. I am just glad the seller included so many different views to make sure you knew what you were getting. I was surprised he wrote after market job. I guess there are honest people out there after all.

I can already tell you, and I quote "huh?" cheesy.gif cheesy.gif As a matter of fact if you look close you may see duct tape residue!
cloudlx
I saw that earlier this morning and thought it was hilarious!
bbslurp413
Oh my God, that's one of the worst hack jobs I've ever seen. I really pray he doens't get any bids on that.
w8liftr
Sweet custom. The custom shop has to be proud of that one. Is there a COA that comes with it?

You could always ask the seller... LOL.

From the post --- "There is red dot milled professionally by "KJ Tour Design & Grind" on the club back. This will make this putter much better looking and Unique, will give you alot more Confidence."
owensjef
i think there was a thread about this like 3 months ago, which tells me people arent in line to buy the putter
claytonstoker21
hahahah that is horrible i can only imagine what it will go for

withdrew
I would love to win that for .01 and send it to Carlsbad to Scotty's Studio and just see what happens. He'd be like, WTF.gif .

I'd pay to see the look on his face, snap a photo, and sell those photos for $72.00 each.
Snax
Dudes... you know thats a custom scotty prototype right out the shop
knudson81
$60 SHIPPING!!!! if it wasn't for that, i would bid on it just to see how it putts! hahaha, what a conversation starter that would be. if the custom shop could fix that mess, it would be worth the $150+!!
habana
Face balanced. This guy is the worst, because he butchers these putters left and right. Usually he just adds the red dot on the back (people think they're getting tour putters), but he went too far here. You'd be surprised to see how much his putters go for, he makes some decent coin for junk. KJ Tour Design is some guy with a drill press and red nail polish in his garage.
Rollitin
That thing is going to have 30 degrees of heel hang.
billsboy
The item location says "TOURVAN-TECHGUY"; must be living in his tour VAN down by the RIVER!!! (With apologies to the ghost of Chris Farley.)

Seriously, I could have done a better welding and refinishing in grade 8 shop class, and I only got a C+ in the course.
Shawn
Scotty must be starting to slip in his old age. That is the funniest thing I have seen, but the funnier thing is someone is going to buy it and tell their friends they have a tour putter.
The Duck
Sucker born every minute.

God what trash
slim16er
Not even a center shaft - the shaft would actually be going into the toe. As soon as I opened the link I LMAO. This is unreal.

LOL There is no way to make that any better than it already looks. And something I can't see at address really inspires confidence LOL

I died a little when i saw this sad.gif

Yeah, it's unique alright.
parpar41
anybody who would do that to a Scotty probably goes around kicking puppys and small children.
claytonstoker21
there is a hole in the face OMG
imsocrabby
but does it come with an authentic circle t modified headcover? i am thinking hula girl....
RobotDoctor
This is about the worst hack job I have seen to date. The person who buys this putter deserves what they get. I would never buy this putter because it only goes to fuel the idiot that butchered it in the first place.

I saw that comment too and thought, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!" I could crap on the end of a stick and add a little red dot, but it still won't make it better looking or give me a lot of confidence...it might make it unique though...
mullie29
The only thing I can think of that this guy needs to do is russian_roulette.gif , I cannot believe that there is actually 4 bids on that thing clapping.gif way to go folks. M29
tervin1
I feel as if we should take a moment of silence to honor the memory of this poor, innocent, once attractive putter.
thor73
I wonder if he could make a left handed one?

LoL!! I am lmao as I read some of these replies.
I can't believe that people are bidding on the poor thing. Just let it RIP!!
ckguy914
It's a heel hang putter now.
tourblade
Come on guys..... its about function not fashion! biggrin.gif
The hole on the face enhances the sweet spot.
jake
its a cla**ic!!!!
littlepingman
Still no reply from the seller... dntknw.gif
buztech
I decided to contact the seller and see if I could buy that putter directly from him... wow, it's so pretty, and my stroke is straight-back straight-through.

Come on, don't miss this, guys... The red dot alone is worth something! I saw one on Tiger Woods' putter, so maybe it's a sign from heaven.

wub.gif
buztech
Does KJ Choi have a second job / moonlighting job, making red dots these days? I thought he made a lot of money already?
longoffthetees
Glad I talked him into ending the auction early for $275 + shipping.

I'll let you guys know how this beaut performs

OMG! So you actually payed for that?
csiachos
I am the buyer of this timeless beauty, and let me tell you, I have never sunk more putts than I have since I put this custom, centershafted Scotty Cameron Newport 2 oilcan in the bag. The balance is unmatched, and esthetics, well...the look speaks for itself. I had 19 putts the first time I took it out! And to think, I only payed $2400. What a steal.
