what was that all about ???? are you kidding me
Augusta National is now the ultimate grind , but someone had to have enough energy left to fill in that crater

who were the final groups with the lazy caddies ? black eye.gif

I just shook my head when they were saying that he had one last test..

For any decent ball-striker, that really doesn't pose a problem, you just come down a touch steeper and pinch the ball out. He played a brilliant shot.

Ian Woosnam has to be the prime suspect, purely based on the divot depth... wink.gif

To their credit, they really didn't make too big of a deal. They were pretty much just laughing about the fact that he hits a perfect drive on the 18th at Augusta and gets screwed.

Neither Faldo or Nantz really thought he would have that much trouble with the shot. Plus, the entire final round was pretty anti-climatic, so they were probably happy that something interesting happened.

I wasn't shaking my head at the announcers.. just shaking my head for that exact reason of him hitting a perfect drive when he's about to win the Masters, and he ends up in a nice divot.. was pretty funny actually..

The exact same thing happened to me at my tourny this weekend. Par 5, great drive, great 3 wood, only to be in a deep divot for my 3rd shot from under 100 yards. Unfortunately I didn't play it as good as he did. black eye.gif Fill your trenches please!!!

2nd shot would have been much more difficult if it was filled with sand.
