I'll be in MB in mid may. We have 5 day of golf planned. (Long Bay, Caladonia, True Blue, Barefoot Love, Oyster Bay, Blackmoore), our last day before we go to the airport we have plenty of time of un planned golf. We are thinking about doing at least 9 holes somewhere. Does anybody have any good pics of the World Tour? Or any comments? I've always wanted to play that Amen corner re make.

thx.

Overrated and overpriced..... Tons of courses in MB that are cheaper and better....

Thanks for posting the pics. Not overly impressed by the pics, but it does look ok, but not the thrill ride I expected.

Well those were taken over 3 yrs ago and in February. So I mean conditions could be alot better but I paid $125 and wasn't happy.... The rates are certainly higher than that now with season change.

I could not agree more, overrated and over priced!! Pro shop and course staff were rude and had a much higher opinion of themselves than warranted. Check out Grande Dunes close in price and a much better course...

Call it what you will...but it is worth the play at least once, maybe best during the off season when prices are a little lower though.

If you have time, get to Rivers Edge in Shallotte, NC (about 30 minutes north of Myrtle)...it is an Arnold Palmer design and is by far the best course in the area. Also, the Thistle in Sunset Beach (right down the road from Oyster Bay) is another good links style track that is always in immaculate condition.

I think World Tour is definitely a course that you ought to play once. For most of us, it's the only way we'll ever get to play Amen Corner, and to me that was a blast. The course is always in excellent condition, and I've had nothing but excellent experiences with their staff and such all 3 times I've played there.

Thanks everybody.

BTW- I have played River's edge twice. (Love it, its the Bomb!!!), and i've played Grande Dunes, which is also very nice. River's Edge btw had the cutest waitress this side of the Mississippi the last time we were there. That place is awesome. I loved all the Arnold Palmer photos they had throughout the place.
