Lol kiddo one day you will be begging for a seven wood. Do you think with Tiger its a club for courses thing?
I have just been watching for a while seems like a lot of nice shots very tenativive putting. Its pretty sad.
Nice of Tiger to only shoot even can you imagine no birdies. My fear was he would open with a 65 and scare everyone.
Phil seems to be struggling with the putter still.

When the day comes when I can't hit my beloved long irons Ken, the clubs start gathering dust in the loft and I take up gardening...
I just thought it was surprising, as he's carried a 5 wood for the last couple or three years at Augusta and the concensus of opinion is that the course is playing relatively long.
Watching Woosie and Sandy is giing me goosebumps. If only Greg Norman and Seve were there I'd be a bit giddy.

As a UK guy, I wouldn't say having 3 majors in the US pissed me off, we still have 1 and a few other top tournaments here. But I think the lads from Oz/Europe/SA/Asia might begin to feel hard done by in the coming years with the game growing in popularity there. If things were to change, I think it would be the PGA that would have make way.
I think having all the WGC events in the US is more contentious, I don't see why the all the players can't get off there asses and turn up to a big tournament once a year in Australia or SA. They only show up in Dubai for the $$$ so turning up there doesn't make you an 'international' player.
As for the Masters - great to see Sandy playing well.
How white are Stephen Ames teeth!
Tiger looked a bit dodgy at times, as did Phil.
For some reason, I don't think Rose really has the balls to keep it going.
I actually think Zack Johnson might be a strong contender than some have thought, he went out today and played some great stuff under a bit of pressure, i.e. everyone expecting him to fail.

I didn't really watch any of it, but by the looks of the scorecard it really did look like tiger was just playing to stay even. Maybe he actually does have a deal with CBS:
CBS: hey tiger, I'll pay you a fortune if you make it exciting this weekend.
Tiger: allright, if you REAAALLY want

From the European point of view, he's right. There's nothing. Not a single golf tournament worth watching. Well, even though, the Volvo Masters at Valderrama is allright, still not US or UK standard though.

Well the game was invented on
that side of the pond. So to me it's just ironic. I totally agree with the idea of the WGC events needing to be other places than America. I don't get that at all. But if I were a Euro, the championship I'd want to win would be the Open.

Oh yeah, and about Tiger; like I said, I just have a gut feeling he will not get green jacket 5 this week. Anyway, we need someone else to get their first major. I am really pulling for Rose, but I picked him at the Open in my league, so if he gets #1 this week, he might not get it at the Open. In a nutshell: I want anybody to win but Tiger.

Mat, YOU may have the best intentions.
But what happens, if Lee Westwood really is in contention on Sunday? Won't every doctor, nurse and midwife in the Worksop area tell her to "Wait until it's over", anyway?
Given the way life sometimes works, I wouldn't be surprised, if Lee were to win and you to become a father at the same time. What a screenplay. A whole city glued to the TV sets watching a golf tournament, while a couple is desperately trying to get anybody to help them deliver a child....
