On May 20th, some of the brightest stars and biggest legends in country music will be coming to Sacramento for a celebrity Pro-Am golf tournament and concert at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex - all in an effort to raise as much as possible for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and The First Tee of Greater Sacramento. Longtime Haggin Oaks Director of Golf, Ken Morton, Sr., is celebrating his 50th Anniversary at Haggin Oaks this year and we're using it as our excuse to throw one big golf and music shindig along with our friends at KNCI "New Country" 105.1 FM radio station.

Play in the tournament where you'll be paired with a country music artist or celebrity. Click HERE for details and to sign up. Or join us for a delicious dinner where each of these fine artists will perform in a concert like no other right under the nighttime golf course sky. Click HERE for tickets. We hope to see you there!</SPAN>

Celebrity Guests Scheduled to Appear:

Jason Michael Carroll
Josh Gracin
John Michael Montgomery
David Nail
Heidi Newfield (from Trick Pony)

We've had a couple requests already what the dinner is planned to be for that night. For the $25, you'll receive the concert plus a dinner of tri-tip, chicken and several salad choices. It'll be a very fun night.

I'm trying to get my dad to play in the event with me, but either way I'm pretty sure I'll be there!! Sounds like an awesome event!!!

Very cool. Wish I lived in CA to come and participate! Ah well, I will just have to do Country Stampede instead.

Well, it's 5:00PM east coast time. I played 18 this morning, and now I'm sitting in front of the TV watching Boo win the Heritage, sipping my second Blue Moon "Honeymoon Ale" while banging out "Melissa" on my Martin D18A.

Life is pretty good, even for those of us who can't make it out to California for the show!

We've added even more cool artists and still have room in the golf tournament and for dinner:

Longtime Haggin Oaks Director of Golf, Ken Morton, Sr., is celebrating his 50th Anniversary at Haggin Oaks this year and we're using it as our excuse to throw one big golf and music shindig along with our friends at KNCI "New Country" 105.1 FM radio station. Country superstars like John Michael Montgomery, Tracy Lawrence and Josh Gracin may be busy with the launch of their latest albums, but they're never too busy to help those in need. Whether it's The First Tee of Greater Sacramento or the Make-A-Wish Foundation, country stars can always be counted on to bend their schedule to lend a hand. As such, the First Golf & Guitars Celebrity-Am Tournament and Concert is set for May 20th at the legendary Alister MacKenzie Golf Course at Haggin Oaks. This year's event includes a celebrity golf tournament, silent auction and gala dinner and concert. The event kicks off Tuesday morning in Sacramento as tournament participants enjoy a tournament round with a major label country music act or sports celebrity. The evening will conclude with a delicious tri-tip and chicken dinner as well as the chance to bid on an astounding array of celebrity items and one-of-a-kind event packages. Topping the evening is a performance by all of our artists - nearly 3 hours of music.

Oh man! I wish I could get tuesday off work and drive up, that's pretty far from Los Angeles though. I'd love to see something like that around here, but I'm sure it would be $500+ per man if that were the case. Do you get to play with a country artist in your group?

We'd love to have you- even if you were a little road-weary. Each foursome gets to play with one of the celebrity artists and then all of the artists will play 2-3 songs at the end of the day. We even have lots of tee prizes & swag that are included with your tournament sign-up.
