I am thinking I may need to switch to a center shafted putter like the Ping C67. If you switched to a center shafted putter, how was the outcome? Did it help you game? Why did you switch and what putter did you buy (specs would be nice too rolleyes.gif ).

The reason I bought one is because I thought it was a good deal. I bought a SC Newport Two CS Prototype for $400. I figured I'd flip it for $75 or $100 profit.

It was cut down to 34" and I believe it had a stock headweight of 330 grams. I put 20 grams of lead tape on the sole.

I tried it after I got it and immediately loved it. It help me limit my pushes and pulls while putting.

Long story short, I sold it for a profit. I did realize that I putt best with centershaft putters, or at least with those nearer to 4 o'clock toe hang though.

I still have CS putters (Byron & T.P. Mills), but all of them have a minimum head weight of 355g

I have more of a straight back/through motion and the CS putters seem to fit better for me. Also, I seem to hit them more solid as I tend to located the sweet spot easier wth it being closer to the neck. I have a Slighter Olympia on the way, I am fired up about this. It should be here by the end of the month.
