I am looking to get this putter as i have tried it out on the practice greens and indoors. Just a couple of questions before i buy this. Does the mid slant encourage your hands to get in front of the ball, and also i like the weight of the 34" putter i think it is 350 grams, but i prefer the 33" length. Can they customize the weights from the 34" to the 33".

I am not sure on the hands part of it, but they can customize the weights but I am pretty sure you have to send it in to the Scotty Cameron studio and pay for it.

Standard weight on the 34" putters is, 340 grams. You can order it from the factory and request to have them put the heavier weights in. They will only add 10 grams of weight. The 33" putter has a standard head weight of 350 grams. You can request a 33" with a headweight of up to 360 grams. I have also been told that the custom shop is going to have some additional weight options and custom options not yet released. Hopefully this will help.

The Studio Select weights are different than Scotty's other standards. His typical standard was 35" 330g, 34" 340 gram, and 33" 350g. But the Studio Selects come 10 grams over standard. So a 34" will have a 350g headweight. If you want something other than that you would have to order through a titleist rep or you proshop.

wow, that means my 33" studio select is 360g? no wonder it feels super heavy.

i am looking for a 33" putter with the same weights as the 34". I guess with all your answers, then the answer is yes i can get the headweights the same.. So it will be a 33" putter with the 2 15 gram weights in it, obviously they will make sure the swing weight is corrected due to the lighter weights in the putter.

I went from a studio style 35" 330g to a studio select 34" 350. It has a bit of a different feel to it, almost like it is easier to put a good stroke on it. From the 2 rounds i have use with the newport 2 midslant, so far this is the best putter i have ever used. I think i have found a good weight for me.
