Looking to get one of the putters and curious about others experiences or thoughts. I've putted with both breifly in a store and thought the Circa felt softer and the select almost clicky. That was about my only impressions after a short time. Both good putters, so curious what you all think.

The select defintely has a clickier feel, which I personally prefer. Also, the select is substantially heavier (I wouldn't have thought 10 grams made that much difference, but I can easily feel it). So, if you want a haeavier, clickier putter, get the select. If not, get the Circa. I went the select route ...

I like both. I went with the circa 62 myself

The circa is noticeably softer and it looks the putter is a tad thinner then the select line. I had been gaming a circa for a year now and I recently got the select because the durability of the finish is substantially greater. Also I feel the select with the scotty cord grip has the superior grip.

If I could get a Circa in a heavier head, I would definitely prefer the Circa (I like both carbon steel and sight dots). However, I probably would opt for the Newport Studio Select if I were to make a purchase today.

Another important question is whether the circa comes in the correct length for you. I never even looked at the circa due to the fact that i need/like a 33" putter. The length options on the circa were pretty limited ...

i got the 33" 350g newport 2 and LOVE IT. It is a blade putter, if you like blades then go for it. Either one is a great choice but i love the blade newport 2's, especially the heavier ones, they are like a mallet but the classic look.

I finally got a chance today to putt with both. I noticed the select has more toe hang. (How does this affect stroke??) Putting with Bridgestone e balls, so hard to tell difference in feel.(seemed very soft almost mushy) I putted with a 34 inch select and could definately tell the difference in weight.

Love the Circa.
Hate the cord grip.

Anymore feedback?? A local shop has the Circa for $250 and it is such a nice looking and feeling putter. Wish it was a tad heavier and finish durability wasn't a concern. Might just have to get both

circa 62: hate the fact you can only get it in a 35"...softer feeling putter than the select...beautiful finish but have to maintain...I dont like the overall look of the putter though
select: perfect weight, if not you can get more or less added on...downside cost $45-$75 to change weight out and only through SC. shop, looks are georgeous, pure stroke, 33-35", Cord grip is fantastic, Headcover is the the worst cameron ever came out with..... Overall LOVE this putter...best OTR out there

I find the three red dots on the back of the Studio Select remind me of one of my favorite stops on the way home from work. So just the familiar comfort of those dots does so much for my confidence on the greens...

Is that a to-go window at the ABC store?
