Not a bad showing for the QB of America's Team.

started with a 73, then went 80 and 81 or 83. seems that he will be keeping his day job

He actually went 73, 80, 69, 83. Keeping his day job yes, but he also beat some top college/amateur players.

I heard this morning his h'cap is 1 or 2.
They were talking about the celebrity pro-am at torrey pines. I was not very surprised with Tony's low index but they also said that Justin Timberlake is a 6 or 7.. go figure..

That's a top class field. T-34 is VERY impressive for anyone, let alone an NFL quarterback. He is a legitimately good player, as most of the guys that he finished ahead of in that field are experienced and accomplished amateurs. Buddy Marucci, for instance.
Cheers,
Tim

i thought it was just a 3 round event. didn't know there was a 69 in there too. that is impressive. i also later found out (from my parents in mount pleasant) that it was cold and windy that weekend too.

A player like Romo would probably fair better when the conditions are worse and going low isn't a must.

I am pretty sure there was a 69 mixed in there too.
