Should be a fine addition to my growing collection!!!

I believe they are not being released until sometime next week.
Personally I liked the original design they had on the MacGregor site over this final released version. I should clarify that I am talking about the looks as I have not tested them. The original had a nice handmade look, with the way Grace was stamped in the back etc.

I like the old Bobby Grace models. These new inserts look really gimmiky. Oh well I ma have to try one anyways

Indeed, ugly putters.
I am a huge MagGregor fan, but this new line of putters are just fugly & gimmicky.

Have you seen the video? Isn't gimmicky to me!

I had my local shop order the Sarasota from the MacGregor rep in Charlotte. They told the shop early April shipping...which is next week and I am giddy with excitment. The MacGregor website what some pictures and I think that look great. The performance from the video is what looks so great to me.

If they could make the insert a uniform color then it wouldn't look "gimmicky"....
But yeah - the idea behind it is far from gimmicky.
Didn't they have a red insert...said dct a bunch of times on it or something?
That may look better then the stripes.
Tough to argue with that video and the idea behind it. Personally I think Mc's got a winner in this one.

The red insert was hideous...I like the tri color better than the plain grey insert...but who really cares how the insert looks since you can not see the face at address.

Got mine today and it is
AWESOME
Still has goofy tri-grey insert but the head is a nice Oil Can finish.
Played 18 with her today and made a boatload of putts.
Well done Grace.

I tried a Sunset today (see my review in this section) and all I can say is don't knock until you've tried it. Yes, the insert is a little "loud", however the finish is the best I've seen: nice dark patina that should darken over time. Great craftsmanship, great setup, great roll. I'd change the grip but other than that these flat-out perform.

Where did you place your order for the putter? Just wondering since the local Mac rep here has yet to find a clue when it come to them shipping here.

yeah, I'm gonna be all over that Sunset model. That thing is SWEET!
I really wish it had a solid colored face also. The bag is great looking, but the face does look gimmicky as he!!.

There is a Palma Cia Model on ebay right now. Not the greatest pics of the finish but it gives you an idea. The headcover looks pretty much like the Odyssey XG Series headcovers.

you really need to save judgement until you have a chance to see/swing one. The new insert looks better than the cheap looking red sticker insert they first showed. Nice looking putters, a little heavier than camerons, very consistent roll all over the face.

Where the heck are you guys getting these? The Charlotte Mac rep has yet to give an answer to when my Sarasota will be in...it is just an issue with my model?

Apparently Edwin Watts has the Bellaire model in stock, but thats the only one they have so far.

I just spoke to Edwin Watts via their 800 number and they told me June 1 was their expected date for all models...and they do not even have that Sarasota listed at all. This might be the most frustrating club to get ever!

Sorry I missed you guys today, I had a 27-hole Captin's tournament which took 8 hours! Please get with me tomorrow or Thursday and keep that 35" Sarasota aside for me, thanks so much!
Also, do yours have the silver finish like the website pictures or the darker finish, just curious? Thanks a ton.
