Folks,

After doing a little research, it seems that Tri-LOK and the Fast Twist will work with Adidas 360's. Hope I'm right there. Please feel free to correct me. wink.gif

When I replace my spikes, which replacement spike would you recommend? I can get the Adidas replacement from their online store. I was wondering if there are any other replacement spikes, for this shoe, that are favorites with the golfers here.

Thanks,

I think the adidas spikes are the best soft spikes there are....They definitely last much longer than anything else....

the adidas spikes are BY FAR the best imo. they give you killer grip (like the scorpion stingers) but they last way longer then the stingers... too bad they didn't make them for tri-lok.

That's two for the original spikes. Thanks for your feedback folks. Anymore opinions are welcome.

I'm pretty excited about these shoes. smile.gif

I picked up 2 pairs of 360 II's last year and I don't have to replace the spikes at all this year. With my previous FootJoy shoes I had to change the Black Widow spikes at least twice per year. Another spike that lasts long is the Softspikes Shadow, but it doesn't even come close to the performance as the ones on the 360 II's. Enjoy the shoes! (Most comfortable on the market IMO)

I didn't care for the Adidas spikes....tried them for a little bit to see what they were about and quickly changed them out for the Stinger spikes. I found the Adidas spikes "mushy" feeling, and much prefer the stiffer Stinger spike.

I also found grip with the stinger to be much better than the Adidas one....

I like the newer 360 spike so much I put them in my original style 360s. Love these things... and fast-twist system seems to work great, as I have never lost a spike like in my footjoys and my Eccos.

I have a pair of Powerbands as well as the 360's and love the original adidas spikes, and they last so much longer than other soft spikes... I happen to replace my powerbands with a set of scorpions about the same time as I bought my 360's and the scorpions wore out much faster even though I was wearing the 360's more often so it was back to the adidas spikes for me....

Thanks folks. I'm going to stick with the original spikes. smile.gif

For those looking to stock up, I found them for $12.95 each at golfballs.com. If you order $50 or more, you can use promo code VISA at checkout to get $10 bucks off! If you buy 4 packs, that would make it about $12.40 a pack with shipping. That's a pretty good deal.

is it confirmed that tri-lock and fast-twist can work with current model adidas shoes?

thanks

yes that is the mechanism used in the spikes of all the current ones. The 09 styles i'm not sure on, but i would assume tri-lok
