Back in the day when he played a lot, Lee Trevino was my favorite, and still is when he does play, although they never show him much. I like see Scott Hoch, Fuzzy (only because I grew close to where he is from in Indiana), Gray McCord (when he plays), other than that, its hard to say really, although Im glad to see some of my favorite from the PGA Tour coming out to the over 50 tour. I give I just remember watching a lot of the older guys and those seem to be a lot of my favorites to this day.

I watch it and love it.
For those playing today that still contend
Tom Watson my favorite golf swing ever
Jerry Pate a home town boy that was hurt and went away for a long time
Curtis Strange I follow him and wish he would do better he belongs to a local club and has a house near by.
Hale Irwin all bull dog and all game
Honestly I am just a big fan of there talent and life long desire to excel and there is not one player out there I do not respect. I can not imagine anyone that truly loves the game that would not.

The last time the Champions Tour came to town, I went for three days (had free tickets). I followed Tom Kite, Tom Watson, Loren Roberts, Hale Irwin and Dana Quigley around.

I root for the tournament to be over so we can get back to some exciting product showcase informercials. Even they are more exciting than the Champions Tour.

I go to the Champions Tour Boeing Classic each year...just about the only tour event held in the Seattle area. Unfortunately, many of the most popular like Loren Roberts or Hale Irwin don't show for this one, however the 7 man playoff last year made tour history. Hopefully, Funk and Langer will make this years event.
In the past I enjoyed following Thorpe, McNulty, Crenshaw, and Kite, but the player that grabbed the crowd was Gary Player when he played here in 2006. One liners or gracious comments at every tee and he seemed to get close to everyone he could from green to tee between holes. Quite the ambassador. From the 13th green to the 14th tee, he gave my girlfriend a ride in his cart. Funny part is, she did not know who he was. You are able to get closer to the players than at a PGA or LPGA event and you get to see some magnificent golf.
