Looking to the Forum for some opinions on this bag.
Also, if you have it, please post pictures on how you fill it... A little confused on all the slots (what clubs do you put in the red area?).
1- Driver
1- 3W
1- 5W
1- spot open?
Thanks.

Great bag.
If the "valuables" pouch was a little deeper, it would be the perfect stand bag. Still might be as it is.
In the red slots in your diagram, I put driver, 3-wood and 2 hybrids, which makes the rest of the slots easy:
5-6-7 in the back
8-9-W in the middle
3 wedges near the putter pit.
I'm very used to this configuration when riding. When walking, I reverse the order of the woods, so the driver is easier to reach (closer to the putter).

I've had mine for a little over a year now, and I'm really happy with it. Very well built, great pocket system, and a really nice rain hood. The only drawback is that it's a bit on the heavy side if you intend on carrying (I use a Clicgear, so weight wasn't a concern for me).
As far as those red slots you have highlighted, I go Driver, 3W, 2I/Hybrid, and my 58° wedge in the bottom one. The top 3 slots are completely lined and divided all the way to the bottom of the bag, whereas the last one is open to the bigger bottom slot next to it. It has no divider.
So I go:
Driver-----Putter
3W--------3,4,5
2I/H-------6,7,8
58°-------52°,PW,9

I just ordered the OGIO Nexos from golfballs.com. I am very excited to give it a try. Looks like they kept all the great features from the Edge and added a different club management system. I think it will work slick.

I've got the EDGE in the same color and everything. It's a good carry bag, and one of the best stand bags on a cart ever. There's a great rubber strap to attach to the back cage that doesn't allow the bag to slide back and forth....GENIUS. I put my longest clubs in the "red" Starting at the top, Driver, 3wood, hybrid, hybrid....when you carry, those end up on top....that way your irons don't chip away at your graphite shafts...
BUY BUY BUY...(I bought mine brand new last year on ebay for 59 shipped)

I've had a lot of hoofer's in my day....they haven't held up as well, or been as functional....From someone who's owned both, several times...take a look at the ogio

+1 Awesome bag and the rubberstrap on the back of the Edge bag keeps it perfectly straight whie my buddy's bag is sliding around

I actually bought the Ping Latitude and have that right now... Great looking bag, but it's not great functionally for storing the clubs. The wells are fully lined, but for some reason you can never get the clubs in right (because of hoofer?), they always look funky (sticking out at different lengths - wedge sticking out further than a 3 iron?)
Also when you set it down, because of the "hoofer", the clubs on the bottom well move out and clang against the longer clubs above...
Again, very nice bag, just not for me...

This is a great bag. I took mine to Pinehurst last year and when I returned, I noticed one of the legs was broken. I took it back to the store and they called the Ogio factory who authorized a new bag on the spot.
There is lots of room in this bag and I love the ball pocket. I put my Hybrids and Woods in the slots you asked about.

Any reviews on the elastic Hoodie for bad weather or storage? Is it dependable?
Also, what about the zipperless ball puch? Does that stand up to the elements (no leaks) and I am assuming the elastic won't wear out...
I play a driver, 3w, 5w so I'll probably put my PW in the last red pocket.
Thanks for all the input, keep it coming.

I LOVE the raincover as well. I've only played once with this bag when it rained. It's just so easy to cover your clubs, then move the arm to the side and make your selection...the thing springs back into place while you hit your shot...
Ogio has thought of a LOT of things. Again, I love the bag...it's great. The ball pouch without the zipper, I've never noticed any leaking..but it's VERY strong going back into place.
