I'm looking for a standbag (lightweight is a plus) with the big pocket on the left side. Do any manufacturers make such a bag? I'm not a lefty but I carry my bag the opposite of most bag designs - with my clubs on the left and behind me (when looking straight ahead) - which is annoying because the big pocket rests against my back. Thanks in advance...

Like most lefties, I've had to make due with the standard bag, and have been okay with it, but I think I'm going to give the left-handed bag a go. I know IZZO makes some, but I've never been too impressed with those. Sun Mountain, on the other hand, VERY nice bags with a couple of lefty options. I'm planning on the Superlight 3.5 as shown (but in reverse). I ordered my Sun Mountain Mini from Morton's and will be doing the same for this one:

That's a great looking bag...I'll have to look into this, thanks for the info! I've always been a ping stand bagger - probably for 15 years now, I guess it's time to branch out...

I have that bag and it is awesome. Not tomention they have great customer service. I needed a new leg for mine a couple years back and they sent me one no problem. It is very light and roomy. You won't be disappointed.

I've owned the "Left Hand IZZO Legacy" for a few years now and this is one of my best golf purchases ever. Trust me when I say this has been a very durable and left hand friendly bag. I play 3-4 times a week and carry my bag 90% of the time. Probably three or four years until I'll need a new one.

I've changed every piece of equipment in the bag several times but have never needed to change the bag it's self

I had a lefty IZZO which lasted 7 years.
I replaced it with a SM that I returned after 6 rounds because the collars split and started making wear marks on my graphite wood shafts. I went back to IZZO, and although the quality doesn't seem as good as my first experience, it is holging up well.

when I was in the retail game I had a few request and found that some of the straps can be flipped over for lefties.
Hope that helps.
