Anyone know any golf resorts for a family of 4 where two people play golf and two people don't. Somewhere near a beach or someplace for the family? I heard NC was good.... Thanks

Doral (Miami), PGA National (West Palm Beach), Disney(Orlando).....all in Florida. Pretty good spots. Lots of stuff for the others to do.

Guanteed good time, Wild Dunes Isle of Palms, SC near Charleston - plenty to do for golfers and non-golfers. Family oriented. Bikes, Tennis, Activities for the kids, central place to have snacks, beers, music, swimming pools along the ocean. 2 courses.
Plus, there's a city 20 minutes away!

Exactly. I went there with my family and good family friends last year and it was great. We had 4 golfers and 3 non golfers and everyone had a good time. If you go in August although, watch out for the jelly-fish in the ocean. The ocean is so warm (literally 85 degrees) that they are everywhere. I got stung by a jelly fish twice in one day.

Would recommend Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg Virginia. Great golf both on the resort (Dye River Course, former host of a PGA event, and now host of the LPGA Michelob Ultra Open, Palmer, and Stange courses, plus a fantastic and family friendly Par 3 track) and off (Golden Horseshoe, New Royal Kent, etc...). For non golf activities, plenty to do including Busch Gardens (amusement park), White Water Kingdom (waterpark), and Colonial Williamsburg. If that isn't enough, Virginia Beach is only about 45 minutes down the road. Went last summer with my wife (who doesn't golf, but used the Spa and loved it) and our 3 year old son. A great vacation.
